  • Nicely done. Just one question for you: Are you actually going to use that Norton junk?

  • You'd have to be really drowsy to pick up and fire a real gun of any kind instead of this phaser looking hunk of plastic.

  • @ Linu: I'm sure there's still people using 98 right now, they've got Vista and XP to choose from if they were to upgrade. And Vista was released 5 years after XP, so it makes sense that a new OS would be coming in about 3 year's time.

  • @ Linu: There's already a replacement for the V3 series, it's the RAZR2 V9 series. Amazing phone, I would have bought one if it had a built in FM transmitter like the LG VX570 has.

  • I've got an idea, let's just put a cord on it so people can plug it in, that way it won't need batteries! Oh, wait...

  • @ Linu: Well, if it doubled as just a plain old external drive, had descent capacity (or a replaceable drive) then I could actually use it IF it were network attachable.

  • @ Linu: That would just increase the hilarity. And I've seen scrolling-LED signs on the backs of cars before, specifically in plastic license plate frames, and I was never really distracted by them.

  • @ BuckeyeFanatic25: It's not really "energy independence" unless you've got your own wind/hydro generator to plug your car in to.

  • Linu's just suggested the most pimpin' camera I've heard of so far, anyone come across any diamond encrusted camera before?

  • Assuming the average rack leaves 0.5" for each CD, 150 CDs would fit in a rack about 6.25' tall, I'd think most people have at least the 2 cubic feet of space required for that. I'd rather have $100 extra than 2cu.ft. extra.

  • @ BuckeyeFanatic25: Severity is a major issue. A lot of people try to argue against Firefox by saying it "has more security holes than IE", but they fail to point out the Firefox's "security holes" are insignificant and basically non-exploitable, where as IE's bugs are gapping holes mostly concerning ActiveX. I personally would rather have my updates small and frequent than delayed and huge.

  • If they can get it up to 1:1 and run the device purely off the solar panel, that would be a major improvement, and also wouldn't slowly kill your batteries through continuous charging/discharging as long as the sun is out.

  • @ tY13r: I'm not into snowboarding, but I have to walk to university in the winter, and I'd love to have music AND keep my head warm in the -40 weather.

  • Agreed. I hate bumper stickers, unless they're on Volkswagen vans. Anything else and they are completely out of place and ugly.

  • Now I'm kind of wishing I hadn't bought my Sharp back in January, but I can guarantee it was significantly cheaper and I was already stretching my budget as it was, so I'm happy with it.
