  • It is really impressive that Big Bang Theory is still pulling some decent numbers coming off of its freshman season. What makes this even more impressive is that it is a repeat! I think a lot of people discovered the show after the writer's strike, so they are wanting to go back and catch up. So perhaps this writers strike had some good in it afterall...

  • Wow, I would love to see this if I was in Minnesota, but I can't just pick up everything and go see it :( I was never a big watcher of the show (I have watched a few episodes, but not much more than that), but I loved the books and read most of them when I was younger!

  • Well I have watched this show a couple times, but they deserved to be eliminated, but at least I had respect for them still. After this video, I think I have lost all respect I had. I know they were trying to make fun of their getting kicked off, but they were trying way too hard in my opinion.

  • wow, this is a really neat idea! I had never heard about their company so I went ahead and looked at their products, and they have quite an array of designs! Some of the pre-made ones that are on sale a little strange though, like "FU mimobot". I don't think I will be giving one of these for father's day, just because he is not into that sort of thing, and I probably would not buy any of these myself as they don't really fit my personality, but there is obviously a wide enough market for this product for people who want to deviate from the normal, boring designs!

  • Haha this would be hilarious if you were driving down the road and the teddy bear was talking to you... I think I would be a little creeped out! But you can definitely tell they're trying to target the female audience with this product... This product also highlights a fundamental shift we are going to be having, and are having with technology -- instead of just a device, we are seeing the technology integrated inside of something else, which could mean in the future that everything we are interacting with will have a computer inside one way or another. Do you think we are headed down that path?

  • Has the spelling bee always been broadcast on ABC? I always thought it was on ESPN in previous years, but perhaps more people are watching it than before -- it obviously did well in the ratings which would have surprised me, but I guess it is only up against repeats of other shows!

  • Wow, that is sad to see that much damage from a single fire... I am just glad that it was accidental and not arson, though I bet the person responsible feels just awful now :( Oh well, it is time to move on. Luckily nobody got seriously hurt, and buildings can always be rebuilt.

  • I've never seen Million Dollar Password, but I am getting sick and tired of all these gameshows and reality tv shows! They were interesting when there were a few of them, but now that they have flooded the airways with them, because they are cheap to produce, that leaves less room for good dramas like 24 and House!

  • This is really cool, but how many people in the entire world will actually buy this? This is the first I have heard of it and while it would be cool, I would probably get sick in it, and it the price is just way too high...

  • Wow I think they got too greedy there... they are already some of the highest paid actors and actresses in the industry and they only do voiceovers! Sad to see two episodes shaved off of next season, but it could have been worse if they did not resolve this sooner! It is amazing to think that they are coming up on their 20th season...

  • Haha I clicked on the link and sadly its not for sale anymore but the reviews of the product from a month ago when this link was posted are still there! I love the one where spifkeen says "Pentagon just ordered 200 at this price. of course they only need 10, the other 190 are just backups and will sit in a warehouse until needed."

  • This is actually a really great idea! I know of separate pedometers and devices to determine how many calories you have burned but I havent seen something this sleek and compact and powerful in a long while.

  • Umm I am a little confused by the video... but I do like the idea of human based search results! Humans are going to know what they want better than a one-size-fits-all algorithm. In the future I bet you will have where all your documents will be scanned for context, and the search engines will learn more about who you are and will take that data into consideration when presenting search results

  • Ahh the Asian companies are always coming up with these weird little gadgets... I could see this being useful to someone, especially if they are going to be close to them giving a presentation or something, or even someone they like, but I am fairly sure youd get mocked for carrying this thing around!

  • I installed the last service pack, SP3, for Windows XP a couple weeks ago which is supposed to fix a bunch of random bugs. However, I see no difference in how the system is running after the install compared to beforehand. Still, I would update just to be safe...
