The problem with attaching it to GamerTag only is that no one else in your household will be able to play purchased games. For example, when I buy a game using my Gamertag, my wife can also play that game when logged in to hers. They need a way for you to transfer ownership from console to console, maybe via serial number, by logging in somewhere and changing it yourself.
Again - guys, can we move this discussion here:
We want to hear your feedback - and will be featuring it on a future episode of our show, The Bleeding Edge
Andru Edwards here (owner of Gear Live). I wanted to point you all to this thread on our forums:
You should move this discussion over there, as the forums are dedicated to long discussions like this. The thread linked above is a DS vs PSP thread. We would love to get your thoughts over there.

Actually, I think it comes down to what you need. For us, we have 2 PC's and 3 Macs. The Macs get about 90% of our usage - but, we aren't doing gaming or anything. They are using for normal web surfing, email, web development, audio and video editing.
Of course, there are situations where a PC would be better for you than a Mac. Over the last year, I have quickly learned that anything I did on a PC (aside from game) I can do on a Mac.
Not sure how this article shows a lack of integrity - it's not like we were trying to lie. That is why Oscar (the commenter above you) left his informational comment - he is one of our editors, chiming in to add the information that the original author didn't have.
If we lacked integrity, I would think we would be deleting all these comments so that our story wouldn't be questioned. We aren't like that though.
