Recent WWE television spots have been promoting the arrival of a "revolution," causing many to speculate what exactly that would be. As it turns out, the revolution that will be revealed this Monday night on Raw is the WWE '13 video game. Above we have a leaked video that seems to lack sound, showing off CM Punk in the commercial spot, followed by some footage from the game, including a recreation of Mark Henry and The Big Show destroying the ring with a superplex, foreshadowing that this will be something you can do in the game itself.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage dies in a car crash

Macho Man Randy Savage car accident

We're sad to report that former pro-wrestler "Macho Man" Randy Savage has died after suffering a heart attack while driving. Savage lost control of the vehicle (a 2009 Jeep Wrangler,) veered into oncoming traffic, and collided head-on into a tree. He was taken to Largo Medical Center, and died there from his injuries. His wife, Lynn, was a passenger in the vehicle, and suffered minor injuries. The couple celebrated their 1-year wedding anniversary earlier this month. Randy Savage was 58, a former WWF and WCW World Champion, participated in what many call the greatest pro wrestling match in WrestleMania history (against Ricky Steamboat,) and is the greatest pro wrestler to have yet to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He later started an acting career, which included Savage playing the role of Bonesaw in Spider-Man.

WWE RAW Reflections (11/12)

Batista and Undertaker face-offMonday Night RAW kicked off tonight with a surprise appearance from Friday Night Smackdown’s World Heavyweight Champion, Batista. How long has Batista been doing this? He is still an absolute nightmare on the microphone. He delivers all of his lines with the excitement of a brick and the cadence of Christopher Walken. Thank god for an equally surprising appearance by The Undertaker. Nothing like a little hype for Survivor Series at the top of the show. I still wish they’d make ’Taker look pale and give him purple boots and gloves.

Just to point out how bad Batista is, when discussing his “Hell in the Cell” match against The Undertaker this Sunday, he said, “Weapons are not only welcome … they’re allowed.” Stunning words. Absolutely stunning words.

The code has officially been cracked - when will the man behind SAVE_US.222 be revealed? Find out after the jump.

Hulk HoganAs I reported several weeks ago, will be introducing an updated version of .  At the time, I said the classic series reminded me of Iron Chef+Battle of the Network Stars+WWE.  Well, apparently wrestling wasn’t such an original analogy; word has it a former wrestler will now be hosting it.

According to TV Week, has been tapped for the emcee duties.  The

WWF

WWE celebrity and star is reportedly committed to the project and is currently finalizing the deal.  As for the Gladiators who will terrorize the naive competitors, those roles are still being cast.

Be looking for the reality competition sometime mid-season.

Unpacking WrestleMania: The Complete Anthology

WrestleMania The Complete Anthology

Our friends over at World Wrestling Entertainment just sent us the new WrestleMania: The Complete Anthology box set, which will be on store shelves tomorrow. Before hitting you with a full review, we figured we would drop a bunch of images on you so that you can get a look at the work put in to the presentation of the set. For a wrestling fan, it’s easy to see that the WWE chose the artwork carefully. One bummer is that all discs are dual-sided - this means no art on any of the discs themselves. Luckily, the WWE more than made up for that with the inserts and graphical interpretations of some of the more memorable WrestleMania moments from the past 21 years. Check out a host of images after the jump.
