OOMS, a furniture and interior design company in the Netherlands, is certainly geared towards saving the planet. They have designed wooden memory sticks made from real branches literally picked up in the woods. Each is handmade and can be personally engraved when ordered in lots of 50 or more. Choose between a 1GB for 50 EUR (~$68.00,) 2GB for 55 EUR (~$75.00,) or 4GB for 60 EUR (~$81.00.) The company also created a solar powered birdhouse that can act as an outside nightlight as well as a bug attractor.

Scilley Custom Turntables

Joel Scilley certainly knows how to make a mean custom turntable. Some are his designs, but he also custom makes ones from others’ plans. All of them feature an Origin Live DC motor controller and quality bearings and are made with redwood burl, walnut and other wood. Featured at the recently opened FiveTen Studio in Oakland, the Audiowood turntables are all available for sale and Joel can also create audio devices such as speakers, racks and stands.

iPhone Coffee Table With Coasters

Some people are really obsessed with their iPhones. Tuan Nguyen, Ken Thomas and a few buds got together to create this unique coffee table in the shape of the Apple phone. The iLounge members made the furniture out of corrugated wood and glue. They also made built-in coasters out of the icons. We like the design and figure we can put it alongside our Pacman Living Room Set in the room with the Super Mario Wall Decals.

Yamaha TSX-120 and 130 iPod Docks

Yamaha Japan’s new TSX-120 and 130 iPod docks are made with soft wood. Both have a 15W, 2ch amplifier output, two speakers, a frequency response of 60Hz ~ 20kHz, remote and FM tuner. The 130 also has USB drive connection and a CD drive for playback and recording. Japan gets this one first in December, with the price of the TSX-120 being ¥30,000 (~$ 300.00) and the TSX-130 with a ¥40,000 (~$ 400.00) price tag.
