Hey Jacob Black - check out this wolf!
In The Wolfman, Benicio Del Toro plays the unfortunate guy at the center of the monsterous drama. This remake of a 1941 film tells the story of Lawrence Talbot (Del Toro), a man who returns home after the mysterious death of his brother. Anthony Hopkins - who looks nothing like Benicio - plays his estranged father while Emily Blunt stars Gwen Conliffe, the love interest.
The Joe Johnston-directed film will leap into theaters on February 12, 2010.

Wolfquest Teaches Animal Awareness
Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Internet, Science, Video Games,
After receiving a partial grant from the National Science Foundation, the Apple Valley, Minn. Zoo developed “WolfQuest,” a free interactive video game. Designed to teach kids about wildlife, users play wolves in Yellowstone National Park. They must hunt, defend their territory, survive, mate, and establish their own pack.
Grant Spickelmier, assistant education director, is hoping that kids will find the game both educational and enjoyable, and will make them more interested in wolf conservation and biology. The game, which has released its first episode, is aimed at those between the ages of 10 to 15, but we know some older kids around here that think it might be worth the download.

45 Minutes Across - Is Zelda: Twilight Princess another Wind Waker?
Posted by Michael Cardiff Categories: Adventure, Nintendo, Nintendo Gamecube, Rumors, Wii,
According to a rumor listed on IGN.com, the world of Zelda: Twilight Princess is going to be big - VERY big. Listed in their Fall 2006 games preview, they state “Twilight Princess will not only be bigger - a horse ride from one side of Hyrule to the next is rumored to take 45 real minutes - but much more ambitious than ever before.” While at first blush this sounds like great news - Nintendo fans have been looking forward to a good long adventure game for a while - it brings up some uncomfortable questions. Could the world of Twilight Princess be as bleak and desolate as Wind Waker was? Will the player be forced to endure hours of trekking to arrive at plot points in the game?
I for one am looking forward to a good long adventure from Nintendo in Twilight Princess, but I’m just hoping that adventure doesn’t mainly consist of wandering aimlessly in an overly huge world.
