VIDEO: New ‘Django Unchained’ Trailer Unleashed
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Columbia Pictures, Weinstein Company, Action, Period, Trailers, Upcoming Releases, Videos,
Christmas brings joy to many -- even moreso for fans of Quentin Tarantino, whose latest film Django Unchained is set to debut on the winter holiday. After viewing the film's second trailer (seen above), however, I can't say that I'm as excited as I typically find myself with a Tarantino release.
It could be that I just don't buy Leonardo DiCaprio as a villainous, eyeliner-sporting slave owner? Or perhaps it's the intended-to-be-humorous quips from Christoph Waltz and Jonah Hill that didn't impress me? Check out the trailer and let me know what you think!

Items Du Jour: Rihanna on Vogue, Lana Del Rey for H&M

+ Angelina Jolie was photographed on her way to meeting Turkish leaders to discuss the crisis in Syria looking like she just walked off the runway. Or perhaps maybe she just borrowed the loose, flowing, ground-length gown from her latest film, Maleficent.
+ Elsewhere, Miley Cyrus was snapped up wearing a black crop top with a pair of pants that could easily have been her pajamas; however, she strangely seems to be pulling the look off. Perhaps this is the magical work of her new, daring 'do?
+ Avid Twitter poster Rihanna broke her own news that she'll be covering Vogue a second time; Annie Leibovitz is again set to photograph the singer for the fashion glossy.
+ H&M released a behind-the-scenes video of the upcoming Lana Del Rey campaign, which was shot as a music video of the singer covering "Blue Velvet." Of course, because no one wants to be all that original these days, it looks very much like the David Lynch film of the same name.

The timing couldn't be more perfect since the public release of iOS 6 is just eight days away. Apple is slowly but surely detoxifying itself from Google. Redesigned Apple headphones appear on video
Posted by Jason Diaz Categories: Accessories, Apple, Music, Portable Audio / Video,
The fine folks at Tinh Tê have managed to snag what appears to be a new, redesigned pair of the iconic Apple earphones. The alleged iPhone earphones appear cone-shaped, perhaps so they may fit snugly in the ear canal. Good news to all small-eared readers out there: this redesign would probably keep them from popping out while bumping to music, or running with the Nike+ app. If the redesign turns out to be true, they would be a welcome addition to be included with the next-generation iPhone. All the rumors are pointing to a September 12 Apple iPhone announcement. Thanks to Google translate, it is understood that the earphones are more compact than previous models. According to the reports, the sound quality is much improved and the bass is significantly louder. Video after the break!
