VIDEO: Fantasia Barrino Explains Suicide Attempt

During sit-down interviews with both VH1 and ABC, singer Fantasia Barrino admitted her overdose earlier this month was no accident.

“I knew exactly what I was doing. You can’t accidentally take a whole bottle of pills,” she stated.

So what would lead the 26-year-old with a reality show and a new CD to make such a drastic decision? According to singer, her relationship with a still-married Antwaun Cook was just one of several issues in her life.

Taylor Swift Video to Get Multiple Channel Debut

Taylor Swift‘s latest music video, “Mine,” will get the royal treatment when it officially premieres next week.

The first clip from her upcoming CD will debut on CMT during a live half-hour live special on Friday, August 27 at 8:00-8:30 p.m. ET/PT. The video will then be available online at 8:30 p.m. via CMT.com, MTV.com and VH1.com before airing during MTV’s 9 p.m. block. VH1 will then showcase the video the following morning during the Top 20 Video Countdown.

Those unable to catch CMT’s special on Friday night can watch the same program on MTV Saturday morning or on VH1 Saturday afternoon.

Speak Now, Swift’s third CD, will hit stores on October 25.

Celebrity Rehab Season 4 Cast Announced Amid Reality TV Drama

A mistress, a twin and an aging diva - and that’s just the beginning of Celebrity Rehab, season 4. A whole new cast of has-beens, never-weres and true former icons will come together, under the guidance of Dr. Drew Pinsky, to learn how to kick their addictions. Now find out how Donald Trump, Tiger Woods and half a million dollars are involved with the show’s production.

Twin Jeremy London, who recently made headlines for his drug-related difficulties, has officially joined the cast. Former model Janice Dickinson, Jason Wahler (The Hills), Leif Garrett, Frankie Lons (Keyshia Cole’s mother) and oil heir Jason Davis will be joining him - not to mention, Tiger Woods mistress #1 Rachel Uchitel. Filming on the third season was pushed back, because producers couldn’t get enough star power on the series. With additions like Uchitel, London and Garrett, Celebrity Rehab is looking positively addictive again.

TV Talk: Beavis and Butt-head Return to MTV, Mario Lopez Heads to VH1

Description -MTV might not be about music videos anymore, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have two animated guys laugh while watching them. That’s right - Beavis and Butt-Head are coming back.

-Piers Morgan is reportedly very close to taking over Larry King’s CNN job. He’ll be forced to formally audition for the gig on the season finale of America’s Got Talent.

-Soon-to-be father Mario Lopez and his pregnant girlfriend will soon get their own VH1 reality show. This apparently means Lopez will have to stay with the same woman for at least a whole season.

-A&E’s new series The Glades drew in 3.6 million viewers on Sunday evening. That’s the best number for any drama broadcast in that channel’s history.

New VH1 Series Explores Famous Celebrity Deaths

In what could be celebreality’s most macabre new series, VH1 is all set to explore mysterious deaths. c will detail the demise of many different stars, including John Lennon, Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson. Sadly, the material for this series is almost limitless.

There’s a right way and a wrong way to present such a show, and VH1 has a pretty equal shot at success and failure. It’s the network that brings us shows like For the Love of Ray J and Tool Academy, but the cable channel has also showed a more serious side with programs like Celebrity Rehab.

MONDAY (2/8)

Bank of Hollywood (E!, 8pm): “Contestants include a daredevil in a wheelchair, an aspiring soap actress and a bodybuilding grandma.” The actress’ Guiding Light severance checks eventually disqualified her from the program.
Heroes (NBC, 9pm): “Hiro reviews his past choices and takes action to stop a catastrophe.” If he can make it as far back as Season 2, he might be able to save NBC.
Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp (VH1, 9pm): “The Season 7 premiere introduces the new cast members: Sebastian Bach, Bobby Brown, Nicole Eggert, Kevin Federline, Shar Jackson, Jay McCarroll, KayCee Stroh and Tanisha Thomas.” At least one of these celebrities was brought in from Skid Row.

Preview: K-Fed Weighs in on Celebrity Fit Club

BET to Host Another Haiti Fundraiser

Queen Latifah George Clooney may have organized the first major Haiti fundraiser, but it wasn’t the last one.

Later this week, Queen Latifah - with help from Sean Combs and Pharrell - will host another star-studded benefit event. The telethon, which is being presented by BET, will air across multiple channels including MTV, VH1 and Centric.

Wyclef, Ne-Yo, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Akon, Ludacris, Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke and India.Arie will be among the participants.

SOS Saving OurSelves - Help for Haiti will air from Miami at 8:00 on Friday night.
