Lady Gaga Sued Over “Teeth”

Lady GagaLady Gaga is being sued over her 2009 song "Teeth."

Music producer and singer Teddy Riley - who was a member of 1990s hip-hop group Blackstreet - has filed a lawsuit against the 27-year-old pop star, claiming he hasn't received any of the payments he is owed after the song was included on her smash hit The Fame Monster EP. Teddy, 46, says he was promised 25 per cent of the writing fees for the song but hasn't been paid at all, and he is now seeking $500,000 as well as punitive damages, reports TMZ.

Gaga's Fame Monster EP, which was released after her debut album The Fame and before her second album Born This Way, is credited with establishing her as one of the most popular music artists today and it also features hit songs such as "Telephone," "Bad Romance" and "Alejandro."

In January, Teddy hit the headlines after he sued his own daughter, aspiring songwriter Taja Riley, after she allegedly claimed she co-wrote "Teeth." Taja landed a music publishing deal as a result of her supposed involvement, however, Teddy insists his daughter's claims about her "participation in the creation of the composition, authorship, and ownership [of 'Teeth'] are all false and untrue."

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Performances, Videos, Pop,

An estimated 20,000 people - a record-sized crowd for the Today show - watched sing live from New York’s Rockefeller Center morning.

Although the patient “Little Monsters” - some waiting as long as 33 hours - had to endure some rain, Gaga’s performance made their efforts worthwhile. The 24-year-old’s set included a mashup of “Someone to Watch Over Me/Bad Romance,” “You and I” (a new tune she recently performed for Elton John), “Alejandro” and “Teeth.”

You can watch all four numbers after the jump.

Who Needs a Concept When You Can DIY?

Brush and RinseBrush and Rinse 2

The Brush and Rinse Toothbrush on the left features a concave back to create a mini-water fountain to your mouth so that no one will catch you slurping out of the faucet. Although you can purchase one for only $3.00, we understand that there are only 27 original prototypes in existence and that they are available for $1,750.00 each. We took our average toothbrush and attached a measuring spoon to the back with a twist-tie and it worked just fine. We suppose we could let it go for a mere $1,000.00, since our version is a one-of-a-kind and very slightly used.
