WARNING: Do not watch these clips unless you’ve had a chance to watch last night’s episodes.
If you’re a follower of Jimmy Kimmel, you already know the ABC host is a big-time fan of Lost. It’s his love of the show - and his attention to detail - that makes this interview with executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof quite interesting.
Did you notice the people not on that plane? How about the number of vodka bottles Jack had? And what was the significance of Groundhog Day premiere?
Note: Cuse and Lindelof announced that the series finale will air on May 23, a Sunday.

Kick-Ass Teaser Trailer Arrives
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Movies, Marvel Comics,
The Kick-Ass presents keep coming so fast, I feel like it’s Christmas already! First we saw the posters, now we finally get to see the teaser trailer for the film adaptation of Mark Millar’s and John Romita, Jr.‘s comic of the same title.
Seemingly pulled straight from the first few pages of the initial issue, director Matthew Vaughan translated the comic to film quite masterfully. Let’s hope the same applies for the rest of the movie!
The only thing that concerns me is that I’m still not buying Superbad‘s Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist—are you?

Sega Jackpot: What’s going on here?
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Internet, SEGA,
Sega just launched a teaser page, called “Jackpot,” and they aren’t really telling what it’s all about. The page features a simple Flash unit that has a clickable handle and a tumbler full of lottery-type numbered balls. You click the handle, and out come six balls numbered 0-4-2-0-4-5. I tried again a few minutes later, and got 0-4-2-0-4-0, and then 0-4-2-0-3-9. Some sort of countdown timer? If so, it ends on Tuesday at about 10:00 AM EDT. Comic-Con anyone? Give us your best guess as to what Sega Jackpot is all about.

Toy Story 3 teaser trailer
Toy Story 3 is one of the Pixar films I’ve been looking forward to most, and we are just over a year from it’s release. The movie hits theaters on June 18, 2010, and continues the 3D animation releases we’ve been seeing recently. Hit the video above for a cute teaser trailer.
Preview the Mystery of Harper’s Island
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, CBS, Video,
Like getting caught up in a murder mystery? Love knowing when it will all end?
Starting this Thursday, CBS will introduce a series unlike any other crime drama on its network. Don’t expect answers to come at the end of the first hour. The big reveal will actually happen over two months later.
A week-long celebration on Harper’s Island, a fictional island near Seattle, will consist of blood and screams rather than rice and laughter. One person will murdered each week during the show’s 13-episode run.
Not sure if you want to invest more time in another whodunit? Preview the teaser above and the others after the jump. If you want to see more, tune in this Thursday @ 10pm.

Dollhouse: Does it Look as Bad as We Had Feared?
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, FOX, Video,
Okay - let’s face it. On paper, Dollhouse already sounds like a potential disaster.
Back in July, creator Joss Whedon (Buffy, Angel) announced he would be shooting a new pilot for his FOX series. Two months later, production on the show was temporarily halted while scripts were being tweaked.

Entourage’s New Season Promo
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, Cable, HBO, Entourage, Video,
Entourage fans, the long wait is almost over. Although we’ve grown accustomed to seeing our Boys of Summer sometime in June, last year’s writers strike forced us to endure more reality fare than anyone should be subjected to.
Those of you - like me - who’ve been waiting to renew your HBO subscription, here’s a teaser you’ve missing.

And just in case the clip confuses you (like it did me), Entertainment Weekly says the part with Nate and Serena is NOT a fantasy sequence. Interesting…
Gossip Girl returns to CW on Monday, September 1.

Is Unhitched Worth Watching?
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, FOX, Editorial, Video,
They say you really shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. But you know, in some cases, that time-saving strategy can really tell you a lot.
Case in point: FOX’s new comedy Unhitched. The show (debuting this weekend) almost lured me in with names like Rashida Jones, Craig Bierko and the Farrelly brothers. But then I saw some teasers. And now I’m convinced a few seconds has revealed quite enough. (You can view those clips, after the jump.)
I knew a show that had Bobby and Peter Farrelly (There’s Something About Mary) on board as executive producers could possibly be over the top, but I thought at the very minimum the ‘comedy’ would be funny. It isn’t. Both the writing and production feel cheap and Bierko - who I’ve loved in other projects - sticks out like an overacting sore thumb. Thankfully, Rashida Jones (The Office) comes off well in the straight girl role.
Those who do find the following snippets amusing can watch their first full episode this Sunday @ 9:30 on FOX.
