Sunday Ratings: Super Bowl, Undercover Boss Break TV Records
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Specials, Sports, CBS, Ratings,
The score may have been close for most of Super Bowl XLIV, but the game’s ratings were the best thing on TV…by far.
Last night’s battle between the Indianapolis Colts at the New Orleans Saints had 106.48 million Bud Light-swilling, Doritos-chomping sports fans glued to their TV sets. That number represents the largest viewing audience for any event in U.S. television history.
The previous record was established by the series finale of M*A*S*H. That 1983 event totaled a whopping 105.97 viewers.

Quote of the Day: Roger Daltry Rates The Who’s Super Bowl Number
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Artist News, Gossip, Performances, Videos, Rock,
“I thought it went OK. I understand. It’s a TV show. Cameras were everywhere. I was so blinded that I couldn’t see… And I really wished the crowd would have gotten into singing the songs with us more. That’s how it is in Europe for our soccer matches. I wanted more banter.”

Why was Kendra Wilkinson Crying After the Super Bowl?
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Sports, Television,
Seeing your husband lose in the Super Bowl could make any footballer wife upset. But according to Kendra Wilkinson, Hank Baskett’s game playing wasn’t why she snapped crying by the paparazzi.
After pictures of an emotional Wilkinson were splashed across sites like TMZ, the new mother hit her Twitter account to set the record straight. “I wasn’t cryin cuz of the damn game it’s cuz the paparazzi have no soul..they wouldn’t leave me n family alone!!!!,” she explained. “people like to twist this stuff..we asked them to stop cuz of the baby n they were way too close n they didn’t care at allllllll.”
I completely agree, Kendra—that’s a perfectly understandable reason for your tears. But let’s be honest—it had to be disappointing to see your Indianapolis Colt lose that onside kick, right?

The Who May Rock the Super Bowl
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Artist News, Performances, Rumors, Rock,
The Who is already played three nights a week on CBS, so why not make it a fourth?
The rock band behind “Who Are You”, “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and “Baba O’Riley” (a.k.a. the three different CSI theme songs) is now rumored to be Super Bowl XLIV’s halftime act.
Although the report has not yet been confirmed by the NFL, it would be just like that network to milk a series - or band - to death.
The championship game will be played February 7, 2010 in Miami.
