It also lists the most active events and current highest, lowest, and average prices to give you something to go on when haggling. Free for all, the site keeps a 15% connection fee from sellers and 10% from buyers. They then give a portion back to the entertainment source or charity. The service includes overnight shipping.

YouTube to Stream Olympics

In an agreement with the International Olympic Committee, YouTube will be streaming 3 hours of recorded Olympic coverage per day. Countries like the U.S. and UK will be blocked since they will be receiving it on BBC and NBC. About 77 territories will have access to highlight reels and wrap-ups, but they will not be showing live events. Director of television and marketing for the IOC Timo Lumme claims that “for the first time in Olympic history we will have complete global online coverage.“

NBC to Stream Olympics

Have you ever watched the Olympics only to find that they didn’t televise the event you wanted to see? No need to leave your computer this summer as NBC has made plans to stream the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games when they begin August 8. They estimate 4,000 hours of events which adds up to 200 hours per day. NBC’s SVP of Digital Digital Media Perkins Miller says that viewers can isolate events by sport or individual and can rewatch those that they want to see again. Over 17 different technology partners will be involved worldwide.

Once you acquire your new Shadow Caddy, you will certainly have to purchase Geostate’s golf balls to go with your tech savvy status. The British company uses satellite technology and places chips inside that inform the golfer how fast and far the ball travels, similar to GPS in cars. While an actual product will not be available for a while, Geostate is hoping that eventually the tech can be incorporated into other items such as jogging shoes and pet collars.

Shadow Caddy for Golfers

It may be time for overworked caddies to find another line of work. The Shadow Caddy is a three-wheeled electronic device that carries golfers’ clubs without a remote. It works by a tracking system and simply follows you and your transmitter around. So far the caddy is only available for rent at Australian golf courses, but we are certain they would love to hear from anyone who wants one enough to import it to his/her countries. Nintendo announces Mario Super Sluggers

Nintendo just announced yet another Mario-themed addition to the Wii lineup this morning during their media summit in San Francisco - Mario Super Sluggers. It’s exactly what you expect it will be, take Mario Strikers, remove soccer, add baseball.

“Mario is truly a one-of-a-kind character; clearly fans can’t get enough of him and his friends,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “We’re giving Wii users brilliant new ways to enjoy him while expanding our series of active-play games.”

Players will swing their Wiimotes like a bat, or motion a throw towards a baseman - you know, all that Wii stuff Nintendo likes to do. Mario Super Sluggers is scheduled to launch later this year.
