USB Airplane Fan/Hub

Turn Samarai With Katana

The Katana application lets you pull out the sword, then swing your iPhone/touch at the evil-doers until they are defeated. Sound effects though your headphones or speaker include weapon noises and your enemies’ defeat when you put your sword back in its scabbard. Katana is on sale 30% through February 28. You can get a copy at the App Store for $1.99.

Captain Kirk Command Chair

MD iChime Doorbell

iChime No more dull “ding-dong” with the iChime. Microsystems Development has come up with a doorbell that comes with 50 pre-recorded songs, spooky sounds, animal noises, tv and movie themes, and traditional chimes. In addition, the “play anything” device has a built-in mic so that you can record your own tunes or sound effects. The unit sells for about $90.00 and the company claims that the iChime is simple to install. Auxiliary speakers are also an option.

Review: MSN Missile Launcher/Webcam

There is no better way to spend a weekend than by playing with electronic toys. The MSN Missile Launcher/Webcam is no exception. Firebox was kind enough to allow us to get our hands on one. It comes with software that makes it really simple to load and takes only a few seconds. With a toy like this, it is easy to get addicted. We only wish we had two for all out virtual/real warfare. Star Trek Communicator, Almost the Real thing

Star Trek Communicator We knew someone who was such a Star Trek fan that he bought an original Communicator, at an exorbitant price we might add. While it looked kewl, it didn’t really do anything. This one does. The full size classic gadget features realistic sound and lighting effects with phrases such as “Spock here, Captain.”

It also has the “Hailing” function. Press a button, close the Communicator, and the Enterprise will call you back 5 seconds later. You can find them for $29.99 at ThinkGeek and then ask Scotty to beam you up.

Music Simplified With Kaossilator
