Intruder Arrested at Paris Hilton’s Home
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Television,
An intruder has been arrested at Paris Hilton‘s home. Police were called to the scene after a guard at the hotel heiress’ Los Angeles property was attacked by the suspect, who had reportedly snuck past a security gate yesterday afternoon and attempted to gain access to the house.
Mulholland Estates - the gated community where Paris lives - was then alerted to the scene when the intruder banged on the 29-year-old star’s door. Los Angeles Police Department officers promptly arrived at the property and arrested the man on suspicion of battery.
This isn’t the first time Paris has been faced with an intruder at her home. In August, 31-year-old Nathan Lee Parada was charged with attempted felony burglary after the socialite caught him attempting to break into her residence. “I can confirm that an armed man with two kitchen knives attempted to break in to Paris Hilton’s home when she was sleeping. The security cameras and alarm system were alerted, and the police immediately came to the house and arrested the intruder who was attempting to break a window when they arrived. Paris is naturally shaken by the events but is unharmed and well. She is very thankful to her security team and the police for their swift and diligent response,” a spokesperson said at the time.

Josh Holloway’s Robber Sentenced to Prison
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Television, Legal Issues,
Shortly after celebrating last Thursday’s ratings alongside cast and crew, Lost star Josh Holloway had more to celebrate yesterday with the satisfaction of knowing that the man who robbed him is finally in jail.
Alongside his wife, the model-turned-actor who plays Sawyer on ABC’s hit series Lost was terrorized back in October of 2005 by 23 year-old Ruben Royce. Awoken from their bed in their Hawaiian home, Royce held both Holloway and his wife, Yessica, at gunpoint as he stole their cash, credit cards, and Mercedes-Benz.
Royce was convicted in court yesterday, ultimately sentenced to 13-30 years behind bars for this and similar crimes he committed the following three weeks.
Hopefully this will mark a new turning point for the cast members of the hit show, as most of them have been struck by misfortune (this, of course, includes Holloway’s robbery) ever since the series started.

Bank Robber Visible on YouTube

Listen up, all you Gear Livers. Last week we told you about the robber with his own MySpace entry, in an effort to apprehend him somewhere between Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. Sgt. Jarrad Copeland has told Gear Live that he has also posted on YouTube. Take a good look and if you think you have seen the alleged perpetrator, become a superhero and turn in the guy. We’d rather not meet him at our local convenience store and assume you probably would feel the same way.
