Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, iPad Apps, New Apps, Videos, Free Apps,

Here at Gear Live, we’ve been in love with for years now. If you are a music lover, they are a company that you should definitely check out. One thing we love is that Sonos released a free app that allows you to control your system from an iPhone or iPod touch, rather than having to rely on their proprietary controller. Since the hit the streets, we’d been wondering when we would see some love on that platform from Sonos as well. Now we have the answer. The Sonos Controller for iPad app will be hitting the App Store in late August, but you can see a preview of it in action above.

AUDIO: Howard Stern Addresses Artie Lange Suicide Attempt

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television,

We now know why comedian and radio personality Artie Lange was hospitalized over the weekend. Unfortunately, it’s a situation Howard Stern was hoping he would never have to discuss.

According to a report by the New York Post, the former MADtv star attempted suicide by stabbing himself nine times over the weekend. It was his mother, who was stopping by to drop off some food, who found him in his Hoboken apartment.

Although Lange’s family and friends hoped to keep the issue private, some “scumbag” leaked the info to the press. This forced a “pissed off” Stern - who struggled to find the right words - to address the news about his sidekick today.

Obama

It’s been a while since I posted here, but my past work is starting to seem pretty prophetic. I predicted the hard turn to the left, after President Obama pretended to be a moderate while campaigning. I also touched upon media bias, broken campaign promises, empty slogans, and radical ties, among other things.

I’m glad a small number of people are starting to open their eyes and question this administration, but why did so many people not see what I saw coming this past fall?

HMS Battleship FM Tuner

HMS Battleship RadioReplace that outdated rubber ducky with this waterproof HMS Battleship. The floating ship has an FM tuner with auto-scanning, volume control and reset button. At a size of 19 x 5 x 4cm, the HMS needs 2 AAA batteries (not included.)
