'Doctor Who' 50th Anniversary Episode

The time is nigh, Whovians! The 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who - whose title has been revealed as "The Day of the Doctor" (were the writers legitimately aiming to come up with one of the least exciting titles ever?) - is just around the corner. As such, the publicity team has unveiled a new poster for the grand event, this time featuring all three regenerations appearing in the episode: Matt Smith, David Tennant, and John Hurt.

Smith and Tennant are naturally in their Serious Pretty Boy poses while Hurt looks like a bada** walking away from an explosion of Daleks, a Bald Wolf sign, and a bunch of other neat-o things that are likely relevant to the plot. Tune in to BBC America on November 23 to witness the epic event!

While the end of summer means saying farewell to True Blood, it also means that American Horror Story is nigh! So as not to make you forget what time of the year it is, the publicity team at FX unveiled a teaser poster for the third season, which centers on witches in modern-day Salem.

Is it just me, or does this remind you of True Blood's season one teaser posters?

American Horror Story: Coven - which will see the return of favorites Jessica Lange and Taissa Farmiga as well as the arrival of Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett - premieres on FX on October 9.

Cinecast: New ‘Man of Steel’ Trailer, Kate Hudson Cast in Zach Braff Film

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake+ Even though people are still recovering from throwing their money at Star Trek Into Darkness this weekend and Iron Man 3 the two weekends before that, Warner Bros. wanted to remind them that they still ought to spend even more of it on Man of Steel, which comes out next month. Hence, the new trailer.

+ Justin Timberlake has proven to everyone each time he's showed up to the Cannes Film Festival that he's not only one of the most talented musicians, dancers, and actors around today, but that he dresses better than anyone else. No, really.

+ Now that Mandy Patinkin has signed on to star in Zach Braff's Kickstarter-funded film, stars like Kate Hudson and Anna Kendrick are taking note and jumping on the bandwagon.

+ Since it feels like years since we last heard about the film adaptation of Ender's Game, the marketing team behind the project decided to throw fans a bone by releasing a new promo poster featuring Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield (who strangely resembles Elijah Wood in it at first glance).

PHOTOS: New ‘Catching Fire’ Portraits

Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in 'Catching Fire'

Hot off the heels of Jennifer Lawrence's Oscar win, producers of Catching Fire - the sequel to the box office hit The Hunger Games - have released a gorgeous portrait of her character in the film Katniss Everdeen. Reminiscient of a Monique Lhuillier or Alexander McQueen piece, the flowing dress softens Lawrence's austere expression (which matches those of her castmates, whose photos can be seen after the jump).

This is certainly thankfully a far cry from those severely Photoshopped Christian Dior ads!

New ‘Man of Steel’ Poster Sees Superman in Handcuffs

Man of Steel

Just weeks away from Man of Steel's official trailer unveiling (set to screen prior to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in theaters and online), Warner Bros. has revealed a new poster for the upcoming Superman film.

The poster sees the latest Superman, Henry Cavill, in handcuffs among what looks to be military personnel. ‘Evil Dead’ Remake Promises to Be the Scariest Film You’ll See

'The Evil Dead' remake

The folks behind the Evil Dead remake are pretty confident that the new film will scare your socks skin off - according to the film's new poster, anyway.

With folks from the original on board (Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are producing) and Jennifer's Body writer Diablo Cody aiding with the script, perhaps the new version won't be all that bad. Then again, remaking such a cult-classic like Evil Dead is risky business! The film hits theaters April 12, 2013.

New Spider-Man, Batman Teaser Posters

The Amazing Spider-Man

With all the excitement building around the upcoming Iron Man sequel and The Avengers, it's easy to see why Marvel Entertainment didn't want you to forget about their lone wall-crawling superhero, offering up a new teaser poster for The Amazing Spider-Man. Warner Bros. followed suit by unveiling a new teaser poster for The Dark Knight Rises -- because DC has superheroes, too, lest you forget.

While Andrew Garfield looks promising as the new Spidey (as far as the wall posing goes, anyway), things don't look too good for Batman if the film's poster featuring Tom Hardy's Bane is intended to shed light on the plot.
