Polaroid’s new Pogo Instant Digital Camera is about to make its debut. The 5.0 megapixel Two cam takes a picture and spits out a 2 x 3-inch print about 40 seconds later. Check your image on the 3-inch LCD screen and crop, add border and print date, and dispose of red eye. Record to a memory card and send them by USB to your PC. Polaroid PoGo Inkless Digital Printer

Polaroid has decided that it’s time you “free the photos” with its PoGo inkless digital printer. The pocket-sized device gives you full-color images from your cellie or digital cam with Bluetooth PictBridge. The 2 x 3-inch prints take only about 60 seconds created out of ZINK dye crystals. The PoGo is only 0.93 X 2.83 X 4.72-inches, weighs 8 oz., and comes with a 7.2V rechargeable lithium-ion battery and AC adapter. Look for them in July at Target and Best Buy.

The Mystery Lost will Never Solve

All the valid and deliberately-schemed intricacies of Lost aside, I really need to know what the writers were thinking when they plugged the backstory to the Desmond/Penny photo in an episode last season.
According to Dessie’s flashback/time travel, he and Penny got photographed by a street vendor in the streets of London about four seconds before breaking up and parting for the next several years. That means that there was one Polaroid-style photo, which Desmond then folded in half and pocketed (even though Penny paid). He held onto this photo through a few years in the military, prison, on a sailboat, locked underground on a magic island, and lazing days away on the beach, where he often unfolds and stares at it.
