Amazon Offers $50.00 Credit for HD DVD early adopters

Following the likes of Wal-mart, Best Buy, and Future Shop, Amazon is giving customers a $50.00 credit for any HD DVD Player bought on its site before February 23. If you were one of those that purchased from the company, you might have received an e-mail from them that stated:
“New technologies don’t always work out as planned. We at Amazon.com value our customer relationships more than anything and would like to support customers who purchased these players by offering a credit good for $50 off any products sold by Amazon.com…”
The offer stands until April 9 and the credit can be used for Blu-ray players or more HD products, many of which are up to 60% off on Amazon.

“earlier” generation still use cassettes for recording and duplication. Besides, if you head into any bargain aisle, you can get some decent prices on tapes. Sony has issued the CDF-W77, a dual dubbing tape recorder with AM/FM tuner. In case you have some of both or want to take the plunge in digital music, there is a CD player included. Xbox Live Arcade and Virtual Console Releases This Week

There are six new games to choose from this week on Xbox Live Arcade and Virtual Console, though none of them are original games (which you expect from VC but even XBLA is arcade ports this week). Plus, most of this week’s games are relatively inexpensive with one exception.
Games this week include Bonk 3: Bonk’s Big Adventure, Adventure Island, Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole, Donkey Kong Jr. Math, Cyberball 2072 and Fatal Fury Special. Details for the releases are below.
