WWDC kicks off a week from today, with a keynote address to be delivered by Apple CEO, Tim Cook, and crew. Many are expecting that we'll hear all about iOS 6 and OS X Mountain Lion. While that may be the case, 9to5Mac is reporting that Apple is also set to unleash a slew of Mac updates at its annual developer event as well. In fact, Mac hardware may end up stealing the show, as Apple is purportedly set to refresh four out of the five Macs in its lineup, which would make it the biggest simultaneous Mac hardware launch in company history.

Displayed at the recent Computex Taipei 2009, the RIGID-note T890M has a RFID or 2D bar code reader, GPS, an Intel Atom Processor and an 8.9-inch WSVGA display (1024x600.) No price or release date has been announced.

Retailing for about $1,750.00, the R8 CF-R8WWLAJP is only available in Japan for now. We expect a holiday release as it will certainly be a contender with those specs.

Logitech has announced two new accessories for your notebook. The Cooling Pad adds extra airflow with a slotted surface and a USB fan. The N100 utilizes rear air intake and its enclosed construction protects from damage or dust. It will be out this month for $29.99. The Notebook Riser does what its name implies and can also be used with peripherals. It can be used at a 20, 30, or 40% angle and has a rubber-soled swivel base. The N110 will be available in May, also for $29.99.

Microsoft has unveiled a Notebook Cooling Base with flip-up stand, a first for the company. Only 1.16-inches thick, it is curved so that it will fit on a desk or lap if adjusted 90º. The USB-powered fan has a built-in height adjustment, comes in black and white, and is lightweight and compact at a size of 11.4 x 11.4-inch. It should be out around November at a price of about $30.00.

The LD190G (19-inches) and LD220G (22-inches) can be used with your laptop, notebook or netbook if you want a larger screen or with a smaller PC that doesn’t include one. Hook up to your USB port and it sits level with your PC. Both displays have a contrast ratio of 20000:1, a resolution of 1369x768 and a USB hub. No details have been released on availability and price.
