Rihanna to Blast Chris Brown on CD
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Upcoming Releases, Pop,
Rihanna is set to speak about her volatile relationship with Chris Brown for the first time in a track on her upcoming CD.
Ne-Yo, who is working with the 21-year-old singer on the record, said: “Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one. Rihanna says some things on this album that you’ve never heard her say before.”
It is thought Rihanna could be planning to sing about the assault, or about the violence which marred the relationship. Court papers have revealed the pair were involved in at least two other “domestic violence” incidents before the February altercation, during which Brown punched, kicked and choked the pop beauty in his car.

Leona Lewis finishing up album, planning two-year tour
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Collaborations, Concerts / Tours, Upcoming Releases, Pop,
Leona Lewis is planning a two-year tour. The singer wants to hit the road for her first ever solo tour as soon as she finishes recording her second album in Los Angeles. She said: “I’ll be touring in 2010 and through to the year after. I just can’t wait.” Leona - who shot to fame after winning UK TV talent show The X Factor - is really excited about her upcoming LP, the follow-up to her hit 2007 debut Spirit. The album is rumoured to be packed with several star guests, including Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and super-producer Timbaland, and Leona insists fans will be surprised by her new sound.
The 24-year-old star told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “I’ve recorded about 20 songs so far. I’d say it was about halfway there. I’ve been flying back and forth to Los Angeles to record it. The music has a different feel this time. It’s more of a live, heavier sound with a lot of real instruments. It’s something I’ll be able to perform live.”
Jordin Sparks - a former winner of talent show ‘American Idol’ - recently revealed she is keen to collaborate with Leona. She previously said: “I want to work with Leona Lewis. I love her, she’s so sweet! I’d love to do a nice powerful female duet with her. I think our voices would blend together really well.”

Lil’ Wayne may have had the most nominations going in, but he wasn’t the biggest winner coming out.
Next to Rihanna and Chris Brown, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss were the biggest newsmakers of the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. The collaboration between the Led Zeppelin lead singer and the bluegrass artist earned the duo five awards last night including Album of the Year for Raising Sand and Record of the Year. Prior to yesterday, Plant, 60, had only racked up one Grammy in his career. (Krauss, on the other hand, is now up to 26.)

MONDAY (11/24)- Dancing with the Stars (ABC, 8pm): After ten weeks, it all ends tonight. Sadly, I can’t even remember the names of the first two eliminated.
- Samantha Who? (ABC, 9:30): “Sam invites boyfriend Owen (James Tupper) for dinner to meet her parents, but Owen and Howard don’t hit it off.” Seems Howard doesn’t approve of his relationship with Anne Heche either.
- Valkyrie: The Plot to Kill Hitler (History, 10pm): “Recalling Operation Valkyrie, a failed plot devised by German officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler.” By choosing this documentary over the Tom Cruise version, you’ll be able to save a few more bucks for Christmas.
- The Hills (MTV, 10pm): “Audrina confronts Lauren and Justin after rumors circulate that the two hooked up.” By “confront,” we mean Audrina has them refer to the television interviews she’s conducted on the topic.
