FIRST LOOK: Wonder Woman, Rebooted

Adrianna Palicki as Wonder Woman

You don’t have to like latex to appreciate Adrianna Palicki’s amazing figure in the newly-revamped Wonder Woman costume. Palicki will take on the dual role of superhero/Diana Prince in NBC’s new reboot, and she’ll be doing it with a fierce gold whip.

Not bad. Palicki definitely has the Amazonian look down pat, though some purists are having strong reactions to the notable costume changes (Wonder Woman in pants?! Inconceivable!). But Lynda Carter, TV’s first Wonder Woman, is voicing no complaints.

VIDEO: Zach Galifianakis Shaves His Head

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television, Hair Styles, Videos,

I pity the fool who missed the end of last week's Saturday Night Live. Those who were watching NBC saw Zach Galifianakis standing on the famous stage with a Mr. T-inspired Mohawk. As he explained, the skit never made it to air -- the show ran out of time. But, at least he got an awesome new ‘do out of the sketch the didn’t.

Rob Lowe to Stay with ‘Parks,’ Won’t Join CBS for ‘Men’

Rob Lowe, Parks and Recreation

Keep him on NBC, whatever it takes! The executive producer of Amy Poehler-powered Parks and Recreation has stepped forward to refute Internet rumor that Rob Lowe will take over for the recently-fired Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.

And thank goodness. Lowe’s hilarious Parks character has made the show better than ever in season 3. Producer Michael Schur says there is “no truth” to the rumors whatsoever that Lowe will move from NBC over to CBS.

We hear they’re getting sued, anyway, so maybe it’s best to stay off the Warner Bros. lot for now.

As soon as SNL announced that Miley Cryus would be hosting the show, everyone knew that at least one popular skit would make an appearance: Vanessa Bayer’s The Miley Cyrus Show. And Saturday Night Live did not disappoint.

In the video above, Bayer plays Miley Cyrus, Jason Sudeikis plays dad Billy Ray, and the real Miley Cyrus plays Justin Bieber. Watch the skit!

VIDEO: Miley Cyrus Delivers Musical Monologue

We’ve got the video of Miley Cyrus delivering her Saturday Night Live monologue… and it’s pretty cool, y’all. So, is Charlie Sheen Crazy or What?

Charlie Sheen says that he’s clean and focused following an “epiphanous awakening,” and when we figure out just what he means by that we’ll let you know. “I’m on a quest to claim absolute victory on every front,” he told Piers Morgan on CNN.

If victory means practically monopolizing the media, Sheen’s already there. The actor's publicist quit on Monday, saying he is “unable to work effectively” at his job, and it’s no wonder. Charlie Sheen has been calling TMZ, CNN, Good Morning America and -- it seems -- anyone else who’ll pick up the phone.

Will Ferrell to Become New ‘Office’ Boss

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, NBC, The Office, News, Spoilers,

Will Ferrell

At long last, Will Ferrell will be returning to NBC. The actor has signed on for a guest-starring stint on The Office, which will be down one Steve Carell.

For a little while, at least, Ferrell will step in as the temporary boss at Dunder Mifflin. He will play a branch manager who comes to take over for Michael Scott (Carell).

“We are proud to continue The Office’s tradition of discovering famous talent,” said Paul Lieberstein (who plays Toby). “We hope that once America gets a good look at Will, they’ll see what we see -- tremendous, raw sexuality.”

Oh, we do … ever since we saw SNL’s now-legendary “Patriotic G-String” skit.

No 30 Rock Baby for Jane Krakowski

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, NBC, 30 Rock,

Will Forte and Jane Krakowski on 30 Rock

Although one could imagine 30 Rock making Jenna Maroney and her drag queen impersonator/boyfriend (Will Forte) parents, a baby will not be in their future anytime soon.

When news of Jane Krakowski's real-life pregancy was revealed, fans of the NBC series immediately wondered what that would mean for her TV character. Now, we know the answer.

“At this time, we plan to shoot around Jane’s pregnancy, because no child should have Jenna Maroney for a mother," exec producer Robert Carlock and Tina Fey told EW in a statement.

Ouch.

The Cape Not Booted Yet

Posted by Tom Mason Categories: Editorials, Television,

The Cape, the new NBC series about a wrongly-accused cop who dresses up as a Batman-like hero to fight corruption in the mythical Palm City, has debuted.

Trained by circus people – that's right; he has all the powers of the Big Top – cop Vince Faraday (played by David Lyons) uses his cape like Cirque de Soleil uses ropes.

He's got a regular villain too, because the evil businessman who framed him also moonlights as the series' bad guy. Plus, Firefly's Summer Glau is also on hand.

NBC needs a big hit, or even a little hit, following their fall to fourth place in a 4-network race. So how did the debut actually do in the ratings?
