Does Miley Cyrus Have Her Own Set of Sexy Photos?

Put-Description-HereOver the past couple of days supposed pics of a scantily-clad have been circulating the internet.  But unlike the photos that cast a shadow on Vanessa Hudgens’ career, these stills (thankfully) do not show any nudity.  (They do, though, show a girl teasing the camera while wearing very little.)  The self-portraits have also lacked confirmation by the actress/singer herself.  As it is, many have wondered if they were doctored to begin with.

While I would seriously like to think a 15-year-old girl would not post these photos on her personal page (as is reported), I hate to admit they do look like her.  Arrrggh.  Can’t we just have one squeaky clean artist who is indeed squeaky clean?

Click here if you would like to judge the pics for yourself.  Then be free to tell me that I am wrong.  I’d really like to believe Cyrus wasn’t stupid enough to share those photos.

(You can find more stories about Miley and her photos here.)

Did Danny Wood Deny NKOTB Reunion?

Danny WoodShortly after People reported that the were going to start anew, a post on ‘s own MySpace page led people to believe otherwise.

“Hello to everyone. Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the New Year. I wanted to address the rumors of the NKOTB Reunion Tour. There has been no talk of this and you are getting it from source directly. Never say never, and you can’t believe everything you read. On another note my solo record will be released in Australia in March. There are a few new songs on it and I hope you guys will check it out. Thank you so much for your continued support.” - Dwood

But what I found most interesting about this post was that he only denied existence of a tour, which wasn’t necessarily reported to begin with.  It was only announced that they would be reuniting.  And how can he explain the recent activity on their web page?

UK Queen Goes YouTube

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Editorial, Internet,

The Royal Channel

Britain’s monarch, Queen Elizabeth, has her own YouTube page, known as “The Royal Channel,” of course. It features recent and archival TV clips, as well as many of her speeches to the “little people.” The site has already had over 225,000 hits and has gotten the most hits this week, proof positive once again that if you want to get the word out, the Internet is the place to do it.

Tomorrow she will be posting a new “Queen’s Speech” for 2007 at 3:00 p.m GMT. Until then, you can be content with some of her 1957 Christmas Greetings. And we didn’t even know she was into computers. What’s next, Prince Philip and Camilla on MySpace?

MySpace to Have News Feed

Pee Wee Herman

MySpace plans to adopt Facebook’s news feed. Fox Interactive Media President Peter Levinsohn said that it will come in different versions, one for work, family, and Internet

stalkers

friends. Although his words were, “The concept of a news feed is something we are very focused on,” we see it as an attempt to keep up with the other guys, who steadily gain new applications and users. Either way, look for it to become a reality in the next 30 to 45 days.

Check Your URL With Blog Readability Test

Genius ReadabilityWant to know how intelligent your readers have to be to get you? Critics Rant has devised a Blog Readability Test. Just paste in your URL to find out how much education is needed to understand it. It also works on MySpace, Livejournals, Facebook, and most other profiles and Websites. We plugged in Google, which came out rated “Genius,” MySpace and Facebook ranked “High School,” but you only need a “Jr. High” background to handle Yahoo. We’re not exactly sure of the method to determine the outcome, but we found it to be a pleasant enough diversion for about the length of time it takes to read the average blog.

Cast for New Film Chosen by MySpace Users

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Internet, Movies,

Faintheart

I’m ready for my close up, Mr.DeMille. After auditioning on MySpace, ten users have been selected to be part of “Faintheart,” a new romantic comedy that will be released next summer. The social networkers selected the actors as well as director Vito Rocco, after half a million viewed his submitted short. If you missed becoming part of the cast, you can still get in on the action and contribute to the script. The completed film should be released in the real world by next summer.

Owen Wilson to Give Interview

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip,

Owen WilsonThe well-liked funnyman who mysteriously tried to take his life over the summer is planning to give an interview under some rather odd circumstances. The Darjeeling Limited star, Owen Wilson, will be talking to the film’s director, , as part of MySpace’s Artist on Artist series.  You can read the post come midnight Friday, Oct. 26.

The interview is part of a promotional campaign, suggesting that Wilson may not talk about the suicide attempt (such revelations are generally saved for ).  But one never knows – Owen may spill all to Anderson and, by extension, millions of

  • Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8:30pm):  The reunion of Johnny Galecki and Sara Gilbert happens tonight.

John Edwards Dialogue Set for MySpace and MTV

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Editorial, Internet, Music,

John Edwards Dialogue

MySpace and MTV have teamed together to host a one-on-one Presidential Dialogue for John Edwards, which we means that various politicos and viewers get to grill him live. It will be on this Thursday, Sept. 27 at noon, like we are going to give up our all-important lunch hour. You can ask questions via both venues and a Flektor poll is supposed to track results, although we are not quite sure why that is necessary. We don’t know if all the candidates have MySpace pages and plans, but we did note while on Edwards’ page there was a clever Google ad for Mitt Romney sandwiched in there.

I-sobot Coming to America

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Corporate News, Misc. Tech, Toys,

i-SobotTomy is finally releasing its clever iSobot in the U.S., no doubt in time for the Christmas rush. The bot features a built-in gyro sensor, 17 servo motors, 2 LEDS, voice recognition and a vocabulary of about 200 words and phrases. Although only 7-inches tall, the little guy can do push-ups and play air guitar, but we are guessing not simultaneously. Expected out next month, it will be available for ~$300.00. For more information, check out the rather lame MySpace Page devoted to the robot.
