Mophie Space Pack increases both battery power and storage of iPhone 5 and 5s

I've got a lot of love for Mophie and its line of Juice Pack and Powerstation charging devices for smartphones, tablets, and pretty much anything that charges over USB. I've owned them since the original was released for the iPhone 3G way back when. Now, the company is looking to expand into new territory with the Mophie Space Pack. The Space Pack is a battery case for the iPhone that also incorporates built-in storage, allowing users of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s expand the overall storage capacity of their devices. Available soon in 16GB and 32GB variants, users will be able to store any type of file on the Space Pack, including iTunes content, photos, and videos, all managed through the Mophie Space app. The 16GB model will sell for $149, while the 32GB version will be $179. Both are available for pre-order today, and begin shipping on March 14, 2014.

Mophie Juice Pack Plus more than doubles battery life of iPhone 5

Following up on the Juice Pack Helium ($71) and Juice Pack Air ($92), Mophie has announced the Juice Pack Plus for iPhone 5. This is the highest-capacity iPhone 5 battery case offered by Mophie, the company that made these accessories a common purchase for Apple smartphones. On the inside of the Juice Pack Plus you'll find a 2100mAh battery that the company says will add a whopping 120% of extra battery life to your iPhone 5, which is good enough for 10 additional hours of talk time, 12 hours of Wi-Fi Internet usage, and 12 hours of video playback.
The Mophie Juice Pack Plus is available in black right now, with white and Product (RED) versions shipping within the next two weeks. All models cost $120.

Mophie Juice Pack Air for iPhone 5 now available for $99.95

Hot on the heels of the Juice Pack Helium, Mophie has announced the Juice Pack Air for iPhone 5, its second battery case that works with the Lightning-equipped Apple smartphone. The Juice Pack Air packs in 1700 mAh of power, enough to double the battery life of your iPhone 5. As with other Mophie Juice Pack cases, you get charging pass-through, the ability to switch charging on and off on demand, and enhanced sound by redirecting the audio towards you. The Juice Pack Air for iPhone 5 also ups the ante by upgrading the charge output from 0.5A to 1.0A, which means you get a faster charge. As for colors, you can choose between monochromatic soft touch black, glossy white, or metallic red - a Product (RED) device. Check out the video after the jump.

The iPhone 5 launched four months ago, and power users everywhere have been waiting for a compatible Mophie Juice Pack--the wait is over, as the Juice Pack Helium for iPhone 5 has arrived, supporting the new Lightning Connector. We chat with Mophie about its line of iPhone and iOS device chargers in this interview from CES 2012. Mophie's Ross Howe, the company VP of Marketing, gives us the latest news on the Juice Pack Air, Juice Pack Plus, Juice Pack Outdoor Edition, and the line of external chargers that Mophie has available. As you can see, we're fans of that orange Outdoor Edition. The big (literally) addition to the Juice Pack line was the Powerstation Plus, which can basically recharge your phone from empty to full a bunch of times, which means you could potentially go camping for a weekend without electricity and still keep your devices charged the whole time. EXOGEAR Exolife iPhone 4 battery case review

Since the iPhone 4 form factor was such a radical redesign from the iPhone 3GS, one annoyance was that cases fitted for the previous device simply don’t fit the new one. Makes sense, but for us that meant parting with our Mophie Juice Pack, which we’ve been rocking for a couple of years. The great thing about it is that it’s basically a case that doubles the power of your iPhone, and it’s indispensable when you are out on the road or traveling. Mophie’s been saying that an iPhone 4 case is coming soon, but they’ve been scant on details, and it looks like a company called EXOGEAR has beat them to the punch with the Exolife iPhone 4 Rechargeable Battery Case. We’ve been using it for a while, and have our thoughts for you after the jump.

Since the iPhone 4 has a completely different shape than the iPhone 3G/3GS, all those older cases don’t fit the new device. Unfortunately, this also includes external battery cases like the Mophie Juice Pack. We’ve been waiting for an announcement from Mophie since Apple made the iPhont 4 public, but there really hasn’t been any noise from them as to when we can expect an updated battery for the iPhone 4. That’s where the Mili PowerSpring 4 comes in. It shouses a 1600 mAh battery which basically doubles the battery life of your iPhone 4. It’s available now for £54.99 (or $85 on Amazon.)
