"It's official, T-Mobile's Sidekick 4G arrives on April 20," T-Mobile tweeted this morning. The G2x, meanwhile, will be available online on April 15 and in stores on April 20, T-Mobile also tweeted. It will sell for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract.
T-Mobile confirmed plans for the Samsung Sidekick 4G back in January, and provided more details last month. It features a 3.5-inch, 800-by-480 screen and is based on a heavily customized Android 2.2.1 and Samsung's TouchWiz. The screen slides up with a click to reveal the 5-row QWERTY keyboard.
The Facebook iPhone and Android apps have been highly developed and kept up to date with the latest features that the social networking site offers. However, most people around the world are not using smartphones. That's why Facebook launched a new app designed for feature phones, supporting more than 2,500 devices from LG, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and more. The new app provides a better experience than using the mobile site, while still being viable for a lower powered device. Facebook worked with 14 carriers to offer free data usage for this app, with more coming. There's no doubt that this will bring more people to the site, especially from developing countries.

Our pals over at Newegg have slashed the price of the LG 60LD550 60-inch 1080p HDTV by 56%, a savings of $1,569.99 off the original price, so we had to feature it as our Deal of the Day. You end up with a 60-inch LCD TV for just $1,369.98, and you don't even have to pay extra for shipping:
Don’t forget, if you’re looking for other deals, be sure to check out our Newegg Promo Code thread.
We wanted to find a nice mid-range HDTV we could recommend this year, and we think the LG 47LH50 is it.This is LG’s 47-inch, widget-powered television, and it brings the heat with a 1080p display, and 5.1 surround sound output. Why would you want to output sound from the display? Well, thanks to the Yahoo! widget support, you get things like Netflix, YouTube, and a bunch of other embedded media playback services, including the Vudu streaming movie service. Just connect the LG 47LH50 to your home network, and the content is right at your fingertips. The part, though, is the price. These typically sell for about $1500, but Amazon is selling it for $1,139.

LG is set to make you consider a HTIB set with their HB954SP, a 5.1 channel surround sound system with five speakers and a subwoofer, all pushing 1,000 total watts of power. It also includes a BD-Live-enabled Blu-ray player that has an iDock - basically an iPod dock that you can use to charge an iPod or iPhone.
Expect to see the HB954SP HTIB launch sometime in November. No mention of price, but we are thinking it won’t be cheap.

Looks like e-readers are a hot item, as LG is the latest company to jump on the bandwagon. Their devicee has a 10x10 centimeter solar cell that is designed to work in conjunction with the 6-inch TFT LCD. This allows the reader to get a whole extra day of reading with just four to five hours worth of pure sunlight.
Pricing and availability have not been announced as yet, but we’ll keep you updated.

We never expected to see a basic phone like the LG Lotus get a sequel, but that’s apparently what’s happening, and the Lotus 2 seems to be upon us. The phone should be launching sometime in January, and will have the same QWERTY keyboard as featured on the original. As for differences, the Lotus 2 will replace the outer info screen with a touchscreen display, although, how useful a display that small will be with the added touch controls is questionable. In addition, the Lotus 2 will support 32GB microSD cards, up from 12GB on the original.
