Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi model launches March 27

Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi

The Wi-Fi version of the Motorola Xoom will be available at various retailers starting March 27, the company announced Wednesday.

The 10.1-inch tablet will be at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Costco, RadioShack, select Sam's Club locations, Staples, and Walmart - both in-store and on their Web sites.

The Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi with 32GB of memory will cost $599.

Motorola said the Xoom Wi-Fi will also be available to commercial IT channels and regional retailers through a distribution agreement with Synnex Corporation, and regional carriers through Brightpoint.

Windows Phone 7 to launch November 8th in US

Amidst all the chatter about hitting stores sometime this October, or more typically stated “next month”, a more precise release date for the US has finally revealed itself. Earlier reports of a Windows Phone 7 unveiling in NYC on October 11th have been identified as false; however, a source close to Microsoft guru Paul Thurrott reveals that the US will get their grubby hands on the WP7 November 8th. While according to Neowin, Microsoft is planning to launch WP7 devices in the UK, France, Spain, Germany and Italy as early as October 21st.

The PlayStation solidified itself as the first console to reach 100 million units sold (the PS2 has since surpassed this), while the Dreamcast remains a cult favorite among gamers. Palm Pre launches on June 6th for $199

It is officially official: The is launching on June 6th at $199.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and 2-year contract. The exclusive Pre will be available across the United Stats (yes, US-only for now) in Sprint stores, Best Buy, Radio Shack, and certain Wal-Mart locations. As far as plans are concerned, you can get the Palm Pre with Sprint’s Everything Data plan, or the Business Essentials with Messaging and Data plan. Nintendo Launches DSi

DSiNintendo finally debuted its DSi yesterday and it will arrive in Europe this Friday. The 3rd generation game dual screen system has already sold over 2 million units since it was launched in Japan last November. Not only can you play games, there are two cameras, a microphone and tools that help create and share content. The DSi costs $169.99 while the DS Lite will continue to be available for $129.99. Their site offers games, including freebies if you buy the portable game system online, a club, newsletter and more.
