Apple just released 9.2.1, which mostly focuses on improving some incompatibilities and killing some bugs. Here’s the rundown:

  • Disables older versions of some incompatible third-party plug-ins
  • Addresses minor issues with dragging and dropping items
  • Addresses a performance issue when first syncing to some devices with iTunes 9.2
  • Addresses an issue upgrading to iOS 4 on an iPhone or iPod touch with encrypted back-ups
  • Addresses other issues that improve stability and performance

iTunes 9.2

Apple has released a beta version of iTunes 9.2 to developers, and the feature list seems to be almost exclusively related to . The next version of iTunes will allow you to sync the , sync iBooks to and from the iPhone and iPod touch, organize and sync PDFs to iBooks, and organize your apps into folders in iTunes and then sync everything over to your device. Other improvements are there to make iTunes faster, both in scrolling, and in backing up your iOS 4 devices.
