Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Television, Weddings, Rumors,

Kanye West and Kim KardashianKim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly arrived in Ireland for their honeymoon.

The newlyweds, who were married in front of 200 guests in a sunset ceremony at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on Saturday, are said to have flown into Cork via private jet yesterday afternoon.

A source told the Irish Independent newspaper that the couple, whose 11-month-old daughter North West traveled to Paris with her grandmother, Kris Jenner, today, landed at Cork Airport at 3pm and were met by a "fleet of Mercedes limousines."

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and her 36-year-old rapper husband are planning to enjoy five days at a "luxury private estate" in the country. The brunette beauty enjoyed a low-key visit to Dublin in June 2012 to help Kanye celebrate his birthday while he was there on tour, and afterwards she wrote on her blog, "I've really enjoyed my time in Ireland."

Mumford and Sons Pretend to Be Irish

Mumford and SonsMumford and Sons say convincing people they're Irish is the secret of their success.

The "I Will Wait" band is from England, but their use of traditional instruments - including accordion, mandolin and double bass - and close harmonies means some people mistake them for being from neighboring Ireland. "Everyone thinks we're Irish. There's an Irish bar in every town - it's the secret of our success," keyboard player Ben Lovett said.

Banjo player Winston Marshall also points out the roots of their sound and some of their instruments, such as the banjo, aren't even from Europe, adding, "We're in a long line of English people pretending to be Americans and not being as good as Americans."

The band - also including Marcus Mumford and Ted Dwayne - are known for spending long periods touring around the world, particularly in the US, but aren't huge fans of having to do it in a bus. "I went camping on a stag weekend and hated it. [And] you can't s**t on the bus. You still brush your teeth outside and spit it out, just like on a campsite," Marcus added.

RihannaRihanna is on vacation in Ireland without Chris Brown.

The "Diamond" singer - who has reconciled with Chris even though he is still on probation for viciously assaulting her in 2009 - jetted to Dublin on Friday, where she checked in to the Merrion Hotel, according to the Irish Mail On Sunday newspaper.

While Chris isn't in Ireland with Rihanna, he spent New Year's Day in bed with her. The "Turn Up The Music" singer posted a picture of himself on Instagram lying in bed under a black and white duvet shortly. Just one hour earlier, Rihanna posted a picture under the same blanket with the caption, "Good morning! Still haven't slept lol #hello2013."

The couple's romantic morning came after they were paid a reported $10 million to perform at an intimate New Year's Eve gig for guests at an African billionaire's private party in the Ivory Coast. After the gig on Monday, they jumped on a waiting jet to fly to the Caribbean island of St. Barts so they could celebrate in private.

The Amazing Race: Season 12: “I’ve Become the Archie Bunker of the Home”

Amazing Race

In the middle of the night, the ten remaining teams took off from their last rest stop in Ireland and headed toward the local airport.  Next stop: Amsterdam.

Azaria and Hendekea started the departures followed by Kynt/Vxyin then Jason/Lorena.  Ronald and Christina, the 7th team to leave, got off to a delayed start when Christina forgot her fanny pack inside the hotel.  Although they did finally get on the road, the father/daughter team later returned to the hotel so they could research flights via computer.  Thankfully Kate and Pat – who waited alongside Ronald – were not as impatient with Christina as her father was.

Meanwhile Nicolas and Donald, the 5th team to depart, were unfortunately sidelined with a flat tire soon after their departure.  Despite their quick recovery, the grandfather/grandson were one of the last duos to make it to the ticket counters.  Luckily, every single team – except for Marinna and Julia – were able to get on the first plane into Dublin.  The sister team narrowly missed the flight’s departure because they had taken a long route to the airport.

Alec Baldwin’s Insane Ireland Phone Call

Daddy Dearest Dealing with an ex is never fun. Dealing with an ex when you’re both in a media limelight…well, that’s fun for the rest of us. Years after calling it quits, Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger are going toe-to-toe in court again. The drama erupted April 11, 2007, when Baldwin reportedly called his eleven-year-old daughter, Ireland, per previously scheduled appointment. And now we’re going to take a break from the story to ponder this: Alec Baldwin feels the need to schedule calls he makes to his eleven-year-old daughter’s cell phone. Hmmm. Allegedly, Ireland missed the appointed call and Baldwin was stuck with voice mail. How annoying! So, Baldwin left a voice mail message. Nothing wrong with that…unless that particular voice mail message is filled with swearing, heated words, and ends on a somewhat threatening note – and, of course, you’re addressing a child. A judge revoked Baldwin’s visitation rights after hearing the message, which was “mysteriously” leaked to TMZ.com. Everyone goes to court May 4, 2007, to determine if Baldwin is fit to continue his visitation rights. Alec Baldwin’s rep has already issue a contrite statement to Extra in an attempt to do some damage control.
