iPhoto 9.3.2 Mountain Lion

A bunch of Mac apps are being updated today (like Rdio and Fantastical) to support today's release of OS X Mountain Lion, now available on the Mac App Store. iPhoto joins the list with release 9.3.2, which includes support for Mountain Lion and adds sharing options for Messages and Twitter alongside other performance and stability improvements. You can download the update now.

iPhoto ‘11 9.3 now available

Apple has released an updated version of iPhoto '11, version 9.3, and you can download it now from the Mac App Store or Software Update. the update brings with it AVCHD support, the ability to open Aperture 3.3 or later libraries, and a few other ehancements. We're guessing it's also tooled to look fantastic on the new MacBook Pro with Retina display.

Continuing the plethora of Apple updates today, iPhoto has been updated to version 9.2.2. the big change here is that now you can delete pictures from your iCloud Photo Stream, a feature that was also released in iOS 5.1 today as well. You can get the download through Software Update, or through the Mac App Store.

iPhoto photo streamApple just released iPhoto 9.2, which brings Photo Stream support as its main new feature, but also include some other fixes and enhancements as well:

iPhoto 9.2 supports compatibility with iCloud and iOS 5. This update also addresses minor stability, performance and compatibility issues, including:

 

  • Left and right swipe gestures can now be used to navigate between photos in Magnify (1-up) view
  • Previously imported photos are now displayed in a separate section of the Import window
  • Book/calendar themes and card categories can now be selected using a pop-up menu in the carousel view
  • Resolves an issue that could cause some pages of books to print incorrectly
  • Rebuilding a library now correctly preserves saved slideshows and books
  • The update is recommended for all users of iPhoto '11.

Apple iLife ‘11 announced

At their Back to the Mac event this morning, Apple announced the next update to their iLife suite, iLife '11.

  • iPhoto '11: Bunch of new full-screen modes, tighter Facebook and Flickr integration, email themes, and better book creation.
  • iMovie '11: New audio editing, one step effects, movie trailers, news and sports themes, and people finder.
  • GarageBand '11: FlexTime, Groove Matching, more amps and effects, new piano and guitar lessons, "How did I play?" feature

iLife '11 is available today, free with all new Macs, $49 upgrade for current owners.
