Pantech Reveal and Impact handsets from AT&T

Posted by Mark Rollins Categories: Smartphones,

Pantech Impact and Reveal has recently unveiled their newest texting handsets, the Reveal and Pantech Impact.  Each of them have an AT&T mobile browser that has three windows.  One will assign bookmarks and shortcuts, another for localized result for news, and a third for the latest news headlines.

As for the Pantech Reveal (pictured right,) it’s a fat, candy bar phone, but slides out for a full QWERTY keyboard.  Also included is a GPS with AT&T Navigator, and a music player.  It will be available in red and blue on October 18.

The Pantech Impact has an touchscreen on the outside with touch-sensitive number keys.  Then it opens up with a secondary display with QWERTY keyboard.  This one will be available in pink and blue.

MONDAY (6/22)
  • Jon & Kate Plus Eight (TLC, 9pm):  Jon & Kate make some life-changing decisions. Well, Kate technically made the decision; Jon just didn’t want to argue.
  • Charm School (VH1, 9pm):  Season premiere. “Former contestants from VH1 reality shows work for charity (and a chance to win $100,000).” No good deed comes without incentives.
  • Make It or Break It (ABC Family, 9pm):  Series premiere. “In this drama focusing on the lives of teen gymnasts who strive to make it to the Olympics, new girl Emily Kmetko begins training alongside veterans who are both impressed with and threatened by her.” This could bring a whole new definition to the term “punch front.”
  • Run’s House (MTV, 10pm):  “The family rallies around JoJo after he’s charged with marijuana possession.” This whole time they had a connection within the home.

Merlin

(You can view TV Envy’s Programming Schedule here.)

MONDAY (6/15)
  • Greek (ABC Family, 8pm):  Season finale. “Casey struggles with conflicting feelings she has for Max and Cappie.” Given how nauseating “Casey and Cappie” sounds, I’d think the obvious choice would be Max.
  • The Closer (TNT, 9pm):  “Brenda snoops into the abduction of a greedy financier being investigated for investment fraud, but she soon suspects that he may have staged the kidnapping.” Later, it’s discovered the investor was less than six degrees way from Kevin Bacon.
  • Raising the Bar (TNT, 10pm):  “Michelle then falls for a sightly cop who may be committing perjury.” So much for making him swear on the Bible before the first date.
  • Here Comes the Newlyweds (ABC, 10pm):  “The husbands try to guess what their wives think are their shortcomings when it comes to intimacy.” It’s not that they don’t already know—it’s just that they forgot.

Rumors: Nuggets to Swap Iverson for Billups?

Chancey Billups The Boston Globe is reporting that the Denver Nuggets are working on a deal that would send Allen Iverson to Detroit for Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess.  With Billups making about half as much as Iverson, McDyess (now relegated to the bench) is obviously a piece of the trade puzzle to make the salaries match.

The Nuggets are clearly in salary dumping mode, but what does the deal possibly mean for fantasy owners?
