Juliette Lewis’ Alien Treatment

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Music,

Juliette Lewis says she feels like an extraterrestrial.

The 36-year-old rocker-and-actress, who dated Hollywood heartthrob in the early 90s, says people treat her like she’s from another world because she is famous.

“I equate fame with being a blue alien. Some people are like, ‘Look at the blue alien, she’s so cute!’ And other people are like, ‘Oh my god, don’t talk to the blue alien!’ And however they treat you, at the end of the day you’re still a blue alien,” Juliette revealed.

The star, who has just formed a new band called The New Romantiques, thinks her unusual image also contributes to people’s strange reactions to her. “Wherever I go I’m like the resident freak show. I’m a bit goofy, maybe rough around the edges. But, if people are intelligent, they’ll get to know you as a person in the present moment,” Lewis said.

First Look: Rodarte For Target

Rodarte for Target

Although its due date isn’t until December 20th, pictures of Rodarte’s Target line have surfaced on the internet, and now I’m even more anxious!

Not only do I want the Madonna-esque gloves and mustard (yes, that’s right) lace dress, but I think that I just may be more upset after having seen the images—my closet cannot wait two months for those pieces.

I have to admit that the ribcage graphic print dress (seen after the jump) is one that I do not fancy; however, there are 54 other pieces in the collection. Why can’t it be December 20th already?

First Look: Enrique Iglesias for Azzaro Pour Homme

Enrique Iglesias in Azzaro Pour Homme's campaign

Treading right behind Hayden Christensen for Lacoste and Justin Timberlake for Givenchy, Enrique Iglesias lends his famous face to the men’s fragrance Azzaro Pour Homme.

Steven Klein shot the campaign; if the rest of it is anything like this image, I would say that they were clearly going for a modern-day Don Juan look. The fragrance is expected to sell in selected Macy’s stores.

To me, this is nothing new for Enrique—doesn’t he look like this in all of his videos?

More Images of Jimmy Choo For H&M Leak

Jimmy Choo for H&M

Slowly but surely, more pictures of the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection emerge online, and to be frank, aside from the shoes, I’m not too impressed.

The suede and animal prints are a bit on the tacky side; as for the clothes, I could find the same pieces for most likely less than half the price at Forever 21. The sandals, over-the-knees boots, and men’s footwear, however, are killer.

Check out all 20 images after the jump.

Uma Thurman Glamours W Shoot

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Models, News,

Uma Thurman on the October cover of WFormer fashion model Uma Thurman still looks as hot as ever in the latest issue of W, despite nearing her 40th birthday.

The photo shoot has Thurman portraying a fallen, old Hollywood actress. Despite the beautiful heartbreak in the images (which you can find after the jump), Thurman is fabulous in the platinum blonde wig, thigh-high stockings, and classic jewelry.

In the issue, Thurman opens up about how she has been reflecting upon her life:

“I can’t say my 30s were the easiest time. And I had thought my 20s were hard! You know, that’s the worst mistake a woman can make, to think, Oh, I’m 32 and I’ve had two kids and I’ve worked since I was 16 and now it’s going to get easier. Because as soon as you think that, you’re doomed! You’re absolutely doomed! When I was a teenager people often referred to me as jaded or knowing. It’s a classic teen illusion to think you know it all, but I’ve certainly learned I don’t. I’ve certainly learned the hard way.”

More Images From Jimmy Choo for H&M Emerge

Jimmy Choo for H&M

Shortly following the over-the-knee boots from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection, two more pictures from the line are featured in British Harper’s Bazaar‘s October issue.

The one-shoulder tunic dress goes for $247, and the strappy sandals run around $132. For Jimmy Choo, that’s still a steal.

Due in stores November 14, the entire collection will feature both men’s and women’s shoes, bags, and accessories.
