The rechargeable 1800mAh Li-ion battery is good for 2.5 hrs. of talk time and 150 hours of standby. Hyundai Watch Phone Hyundai has gone into the phone/watch market with their MB-910. The timepiece not only looks sweet, it is a tri-band GSM phone with a 1.5 x 132 x 176-inch pixel touch-sensitive display. It also has a media player with 128MB memory, Bluetooth capability, a WAP 2.0 browser and of course a full screen clock. The MB-910 is expected to hit the UK first during Q2 at a price of £200 (~$281.00.)

You want a cell phone but maybe you can’t get out of the standard phone groove. Chinavasion has a desktop wireless GSM phone. It can do everything that your standard mobile can and in addition has a large numeric keypad and accepts a standard SIM card. The dual band mobile phone can run off a wall plug or built-in battery that will last for about 2 1/2 hrs. talk time and about 48 hours standby. The CVFK-M13 phone has a very cool feature of dialing without lifting the handset and a price of $77.61.

Honeywell Dolphin 9950 Mobile Computer

Honeywell’s Dolphin 9950 is a handheld computer that runs on a 624MHz Marvell PXA270 processor with Windows Mobile 6.0 and 3.5-inch touchscreen. It also features a GPS quad band, GSM networking, a digital cam, 802.11b/g Bluetooth capability and barcode scanning with the company’s Adaptus Imaging Technology 5.0. Similar to their 9900, this model also has an integrated pistol grip and can handle dust, moisture and dropping on concrete, not that you should do that. Choose between a 56 or 43 key layout. Motorola Moto W233 Renew

Moto Renew Motorola is going literally and figuratively green at this year’s CES with their Moto W233 Renew. Its housing is made out of recycled water bottles. Other features include a 1.6-inch display, SMS and MMS messaging, a WAP browser, USB connectivity, and GSM. It also has about 9 hours of talk time, 18 days of standby and has an optional 2GB removable memory. At a size of 45 x 110.97 x 14.7mm and a weight of 83g, it comes with a pre-paid envelope so that you can send them your old phone to recycle. Look for the Renew at T-Mobile sometime in Q1.

Motorola Aura We know we can’t afford those high end cellies, but we covet them all the same. Motorola has introduced its Aura with 16 million color support and a 300dpi resolution. The stainless steel case takes 2 weeks to make with a finish that is used on luxury watches. Even the swivel mechanism is custom engineered by the Swiss. Inside there is a 2 megapixel cam, 2GB memory, stereo Bluetooth, a music player, GSM support, and Motorola’s CrystalTalk with speakerphone capability. The Aura should be out in time for the holiday season, undoubtedly at a price that none of us can afford.

The touchscreen phone has a 2.9-inch TFT display with 256K colors, QGVA with 240 x 400 pixels, 2G network GSM, and supports Bluetooth, micro SD, and USB. It also features GPRS, a 2 MP cam with auto-focus and video, an MP3/MPEG4/WAV/AAC player, voice memo, and organizer. Expect up to 850 hrs. of standby time with 8 hrs. of talk time.
