Hey, are you looking to pick up the new Samsung Galaxy S III on day one here in the USA? If so, pre-ordering is your best bet, and all four major carriers now have their Galaxy S III pages live and ready to accept your cash, and US Cellular will do the same on June 12th. Here are the links:
AT&T has announced that it's going to begin pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S III on June 6th (the same day that Verizon Galaxy S III pre-orders begin.) Items of note here: first, AT&T will only be selling the 16 GB model, which costs $200. They will not be selling the more spacious 32 GB version. However, they'll also be offering an additional color that isn't available on the other US carriers--red. That makes the three color choices red, white, and blue on AT&T. It's the season of patriotism, so, why not?
Verizon Wireless has announced that it will begin taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S III beginning on June 6. That's right--in two days you'll be able to put your $200 down for the 16 GB Galaxy S III, or $250 if you'd prefer the 32 GB model. The Verizon Galaxy S III will be compatible with its 4G LTE network, and ships with Android 4.0.

Yesterday Samsung unleashed the Galaxy S III smartphone at its Mobile Unpacked event in London. Sure, we brought you news of the Galaxy S III when it was announced, but sometimes, you just need to see things for yourself. Luckily, Samsung has just put the whole shebang up for you to watch and enjoy at your liesure. The video is about 80 minutes long, though, so you may wanna get some popcorn or something. We've got the video for you below!
Alongside the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung announced that buyers will also get another nice incentive--50 GB of free space on Dropbox. Buyers will simply need to register their Galaxy S III, and we presume they also need to install the Dropbox Android app. From there, they'll receive 50 GB of Dropbox storage for two years. Definitely a nice bonus if you ask us.
Samsung just announced its new Galaxy S III smartphone at its Mobile Unpacked event in London, and it's straight up impressive. What can you expect from the new flagship Android device? Here's the rundown:
Normally we wouldn’t trust leaks that come out of Asia since you have to take them with a grain of salt due to the fact that there are so many realistic fakes out there, but on occassion, there are some newsworthy items. Such is the case for the Samsung Galaxy S III, which was spotted on Vietnamese site Tinhte.
Currently, the smartphone goes by the mundane name of GT-I9300. However, if Samsung plans on sticking to its current naming scheme it’ll be called the Galaxy S III, and it should be fantastic. According to Tinhte, the phone boasts a 4.6-inch display with 720 x 1184 resolution. The phone is powered by a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smoothly. The phone features 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in storage that's expandable using the micro SD slot. For those that are addicted to Instagram, you’ll be able to shoot away using the 8 megapixel camera, and the phone is also equipped with NFC.
Since this is a prototype, expect the external look of the phone may change slightly. We’re assuming that Samsung will drop the tacky plastic rim around the handset, for example. Samsung has gone on the record by neither denying nor claiming the GT-I9300 as the next Galaxy S III, only stating “We will be able to tell you more at the 2012 Samsung Mobile Unpacked.” So we’ll just have to wait and see. Until that time, enjoy the video of the leak above.
