Justin Bieber Struck Down with Food Poisoning

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music,

Justin BieberJustin Bieber is recovering after being struck down with food poisoning.

The "Boyfriend" hitmaker was ill ahead of a gig in Argentina last night, and it's not yet known how he picked up the bug. The pop superstar broke the news of his tummy troubles on Twitter after hearing of his Best Male win at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam on Sunday evening.

"Sitting here with food poisoning and heard we won #bestmale at the #EMAs. Thanks everyone [sic]," he wrote.

The star, who missed the awards ceremony due to work commitments, reassured the Argentinian Beliebers that the gig, which was part of his Believe tour would still go ahead: "Argentina been a rough day but the show must go on. I'm coming. This sucks. #sick food poisoning [sic]."

Aguavac Tea Towel

Aquavac Tea TowelFor those who tend to use the same old crummy sponge/dishrag to clean counters and rearrange the bacteria, student designer Paul Oxley has created the Aquavac Tea Towel. The kitchen mini-wet vacuum will also clean up crumbs and dry your hands, as well as pots and pans. Oxley says, “Every year millions of people get food poisoning and between 100 and 200 people a year die from it. I found that one of the main ways of spreading the bacteria responsible for most cases is through the use of tea towels.“

Good point, good try, and maybe when it gets past the prototype stage, we will clean up all our acts.
