Designed by Middlesex University by specialized teachers of teachers, the Kit can launch your plane at a speed of up to 31 mph. Included are the base plate, plastic discs with pulley, motors, battery box, 4 connecting sleeves, suction cups, screw driver, and hardware. Available for $14.95, we hope that the kit and its guidebook will finally teach us how to actually construct something aerodynamically launchable out of paper.

Electric Ciggy Prevents Second-Hand Smoke

Crown 7Crown 7 is someone’s idea of an electric cigarette that prevents second-hand smoke.  Nicotine cartridges and water create “smoke” that is supposed to be equal to a regular cigarette in its effect. It is also available in a cigar and pipe model and comes with a recharger, 2 lithium batteries, and 2 replacement filters. Additional cartridges cost $10.00 each. For $99.95 and no explanation of the equivalency to a normal cig, we offer another alternative to keeping away second-hand smoke. We call it opening a window.

We like anything that makes kitchen cleanup easier so we are especially fond of ALNO’s libertyIsland four zone electric induction cook top. Attach it to your table inside or outdoors and unfold it with its fixed wheels when you are ready to prepare a meal. At a size of 32 x 16-inches, it also features a glass back splash to keep your table grease-free. Only a concept at this point, we can’t wait for another gadget that we can figuratively shove in a drawer when not in use.
