Lady Gaga Heartbeats 2.0 earbuds show you were born this way

Looks like the Monster Cable / Lady Gaga / Dr. Dre triumverate (with Jimmy Iovine playing coach) is teaming up again to bring the Lady Gaga Heartbeats into 2011. The Heartbeats 2.0 get a redesign, bringing the updated look of the earbuds more in line with how Gaga herself has been styling herself as of late. That means weird pyramid-shaped studs coming off the side of the earbud, and a spikey looking earpiece as well. You see, these match the ridiculous pyramid bumps that Gaga has been wearing on her face while promoting her new Born This Way album...but stay with us here. Monster is promising awesome clarity and deep base that can be turned up to deafening levels without distortion, and since it has a microphone on the flat, tangle-proof wire, you can even use them to take phone calls. Monster announced the DiddyBeats back at CES 2010, and the in-ear fashion headphones have finally started shipping just recently. We were able to get our hands on the DiddyBeats, which as you can see in this episode, are made to invoke a feeling of high fashion. We got the black pair, which is accented with chrome and black leather, definitely a unique look for a pair of earbuds, but really, what would you expect from the Beats by Dr. Dre line and Diddy himself? Monster and Vivienne Tam collaborate on Butterfly in-ear headphones

Damn, Monster Cable is continuing to flood the headphone market, this time going outside of their Beats by Dr. Dre partnership, and instead doing a collabo with fashion designer Vivienne Tam of HP netbook fame. The product will be known at the Butterfly in-ear headphones, and each earbud will have colorful butterfly artwork on it, and it’s all finished up with a light gold-brushed finish. They are being positioned as both a music accessory and a fashion piece, which we guess kind of explains the $199.95 price point. So, who’s picking these up when they ship in April?

Heartbeats by Lady Gaga added to Beats by Dr. Dre line

We’ve known for a while now that a Lady Gaga edition of the Beats by Dr. Dre headphone line was on the way (heck, the Beats Studio Edition appears in every single one of her music videos,) but we must admit, we didn’t know it would be it’s own standalone product! However, that is exactly what Monster Cable is giving us with the Heartbeats by Lady Gaga in-ear headphones. I’ve confirmed with Monster Cable that they aren’t just a rebranded version of the Beats by Dr. Dre Tour Edition, and they they have a sound and style all their own. Apparently, Lady Gaga helped with the design, and we can believe it, just by looking at the product. Other features include multiple eartips to suit all sizes of ear canal, a travel case, and a flat cable design that eliminates wire tangling.
The Heartbeats by Lady Gaga will hit stores in October, with prices ranging from $99 to $149.

Klipsch Image S4i earbuds with iPhone and iPod controls

It has been a while since we covered a Klipsch product, but the company just announced the new Image S4i, “an in-ear headset that combines the company’s acclaimed sound performance and amazing comfort value with a unique in-line microphone and remote.”
It’s designed for iPhone and iPod users, and features Apple’s advanced three-button microphone and remote system that can handle voice and/or music controls. By the way, the Image S4i works seamlessly with the iPhone 3GS, and the latest releases of iPods. It is also compatible with the Apple VoiceOver feature on the 3rd gen iPod Shufle, so you can hear the name of the playlist, song, or artist.
The Klipsch Image S4i is planned for release in August, at a price of $99.99.

How clever of MoGo Talk to create this iPhone case with built-in Bluetooth headset that folds down to a 5mm thickness. Compatible with a 3G or 3GS, it has a small slit to include the MoGo headset. This makes for simplified changing of earbuds as well as recharging. The case has a talk time of about 4 hours before needing a charge and will be in limited distribution until moving on to Apple and AT&T shops. Look for a $99.00 price and an outing this July.
