We have found another electronic staple that has gotten smaller. Panasonic has unveiled their Micro Four Thirds system camera, saying that it is the planet’s smallest. The LUMIX DMC-G1 has no internal mirror structure that is used in DSLR cameras so the size and weight has been halved. The camera’s flange back has been reduced from 40 to 20mm. The G1 will be available in the U.S. soon, comes in black, red and blue, and carries a MSRP of $799.99.
