Dead Space for iPhone review

With the release of Dead Space 2 across platforms, EA Mobile released an iOS version of the game. Coming in at $6.99 for the iPhone and $9.99 for the iPad version, this is more than just a companion app, it's a fairly extensive, full featured game, with multiple weapons, sceneries, moving vehicles, story and so on. The whole plot and setting feeds into the Dead Space universe to create a full mobile experience.

Clash of the Titans Director Films Dead Space 2 Inside Look

Louis Leterrier

French gaming site Julsa.fr posted an interview with Louis Leterrier (Clash of the Titans) discussing his love of video games (which he refers to as "films"), particularly Dead Space 2. The famed French director went behind the lens to document a four-part video series within the offices of Dead Space 2 creators, Visceral Games, for an in-depth look at the upcoming Dead Space 2.

Leterrier tells Julsa that he is a "fan of the film Dead Space", going on to revel in his firm belief that "[video games] can really do things that are totally creative, totally artistic, things that provoke an emotion within the viewer/player and create something that's abosolutely visceral."

Check out Leterrier's first three parts after the jump, and look out for part four later this week.

EA Announces Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2

Good news for you survival horror fans (jeez, is that ever a trite opening line): EA has officially announced Dead Space 2 for you to speculate over until they release more information. According to the press release, the game will star Issac Clarke from the original game as he continues to kill more horrifically deformed Necromorphs, frolic in zero gravity, and generally do more of what you loved from the stellar first installment. It’s being developed by Visceral Games, the folks behind the first game, and will hopefully feature the same amazing audio as before.

Anyways, all the pictures I could find from the first game were terribly violent, and as you know, my first and only concern is the children; So, enjoy this picture of an upside-down dog from upsidedowndogs.com. Fuzzy wuzzy!

Hit the jump for the full release and some high hopes.
