Vertigo Prototype Heats Food and Drink

The Vertigo is a handy device that will self-heat your food and beverages and is eco-friendly at the same time. Designed by Nicolas Bernal, the outer shell is made from Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT), a material that can handle temperatures up to 150° C and is fire retardant. A sensor-triggered LED lets you know optimal temperature. Best of all, you hand crank it, so the prototype will work when you are lost in the woods, stuck in traffic, or need a caffeine fix.

Wake Up With Elvis

While we are on the subject of Elvis, we figure if you cannot afford the car, you can still have a piece of him with the Singing Mug. Light activated, lift it up and it starts crooning “Love Me Tender.” While we would much rather wake up to The Stones singing “Mother’s Little Helper,” this is at least a start and may give someone an entrepreneurial idea. A bit pricey at $71.00, it has an on/off switch when you have had your fill of caffeine and the King.
