Kelly Osbourne “Disgusted” by Kimye’s ‘Vogue’ Backlash

Kelly Osbourne and Kim KardashianKelly Osbourne is "disgusted" by the backlash against Kim Kardashian's Vogue cover.

The Fashion Police host doesn't think readers have the right to criticize the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and her rapper fiance, Kanye West, who front the latest edition of the magazine, after stars like Sarah Michelle Gellar have threatened to cancel their subscription to the prestigious publication.

In a blog post titled "MY THOUGHTS ON KIM AND KANYE ON VOGUE," she wrote: "People are even going so far as to cancel their subscriptions or bloggers [are] taking down the link to Vogue magazine. I don't want to even go into the awful things people have said about them. I find this disgusting. Regardless of whether or not you think Kim and Kanye are worthy enough [to] be on the cover ... it's not your decision to make. I do believe that would be up to [Editor] Anna Wintour."

Kelly urges fans to "be happy" for Kim and Kanye, who have nine-month-old daughter North together and are expected to wed this May.

Anna Wintour Praises Kim Kardashian

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on the cover of 'Vogue'Anna Wintour thinks that Kim Kardashian has "real guts."

The Vogue editor, who previously had a frosty relationship with the reality TV star despite being close friends with her fiancee Kanye West, claims she decided to put the Keeping Up with the Kardashians beauty on the cover of the magazine's April edition because she admires Kim's "strength of character."

In her editor's letter for Vogue's Shape issue, the cover of which features the "New Slaves" hitmaker with his arms around Kim, who is wearing a strapless Lanvin wedding dress, the fashion icon, 64, writes, "There's barely a strand of the modern media that the Kardashian Wests haven't been able to master, and for good reason. Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world's spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that."

Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, and Prince William

Is Prince William our next big rock star? A video documenting the royal's trio act with Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi (seen after the jump!) performing "Livin' on a Prayer" might convince you if you're actually having a hard time imagining it.

Swift and Bon Jovi were present at the UK's Winter Whites Gala held at Kensington Palace for a fundraiser in aid of the Centerpoint charity. Although Swift performed a song about palaces and princes in a palace with a prince - "Love Story" - folks in attendance were in for a huge surprise when Bon Jovi took the stage, encouraging the British royals' newest father to join him on stage. At first hesitant, Prince William hinted that he'd only agree if Swift would join in - to which she easily obliged (who wouldn't get the opportunity to sing alongside a real-life prince and a living musical legend?).

VIDEO: Miley Cyrus Covers Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness”

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Performances, Videos, Alternative, Covers, Pop,

With her controversial award show performances and shocking fashions, it's easy to forget that Miley Cyrus can actually sing.

The former Disney star covered Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" for BBC Radio 1, putting a slight country pop spin to the tune. Although Cyrus sounds great on the track, it would've been nice to hear her stray a little farther from Del Rey's original version of the song. Hopefully Del Rey inspires her new work - it's definitely more interesting to hear her belting out notes like this compared to her current material!

Melissa McCarthy Speaks Out About ‘ELLE’ Cover Backlash

Melissa McCarthy on the cover of 'ELLE'

Upon the unveiling of Melissa McCarthy's ELLE cover - of which she shares newsstands with other covers featuring Reese Witherspoon and Penelope Cruz for the magazine's Women in Hollywood theme - fans were appalled to see the funny woman covered up in a coat. While thinner stars are styled in much less clothing, it seemed unfair to cover up a woman of a bigger size like McCarthy.

With that said, McCarthy broke her silence on the issue and revealed that sporting the coat was her choice after all: "What I found so bizarre is I picked the coat. I grabbed the coat. I covered up. I had a great black dress on but I thought, it comes out in November... I was so sick of summer. I live in Southern California. I was like, 'Give me a big coat to wear. Give the girl some cashmere!' I picked the coat. They were like, 'The dress is really great,' but I was like, 'Yeah, but look at this.'"

Simon Cowell to Sing on ‘X Factor’

Simon CowellSimon Cowell is to sing on X Factor.

The music mogul is persuaded to show off his vocal talents by fellow talent show judge Kelly Rowland during auditions in Denver, Colorado, after being less than impressed with one wannabe's attempt at singing 1940s classic "Fools Rush In." Following the hopeful's rendition, judge Demi Lovato told them, "You would sound like what Simon sounds like when he sings."

Kelly then urged the 53-year-old star, who branded the auditions the "worst" day of try-outs ever, to sing the same song. Simon, who has always vowed to never sing in public, obliged and was praised by fellow judges Paulina Rubio and Demi, who said his rendition was "charming."

Kelly added, "I knew that voice was always there."

Items Du Jour: Rooney Scores Dior, Doutzen Pulls an Angelina

Christy Turlington+ Considering she has both the face and body for high fashion, it's no wonder that actress Rooney Mara has signed with Dior to lend her face to their Down Town fragrance campaign. Naturally, her face is so gorgeously distracting that it's barely apparent that the photo is an ad for a perfume.

+ Model Doutzen Kroes imitates Angelina Jolie's famous 2010 Oscar dress, showing off some serious leggage at the Cannes Film Festival in Atelier Versace (albeit, looking somewhat like a superhero).

+ Despite her doctor's orders to avoid tight-fitting shoes, a very pregnant Kim Kardashian was spotted desperately trying to squeeze into her Givenchy heels.

+ Harper's Bazaar features supermodel Christy Turlington on next month's cover, which notes that she's still fabulous at 44 - as if we still didn't need reminding since she turned 40.
