Guillory Tweets First Look at Chew #4

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Image Comics,

Rob Guillory's Twitter pictureLike everyone else and their five year-old sister, I have become addicted to Twitter. Unlike deleterious addictions (i.e. following P. Diddy), however, I receive first-hand news from my favorite comic book artists, including a look at the Chew #4 cover!

Rob Guillory, one-half of the creative force behind Image’s sold out comic, divulges the daily progression (and news!) of the darkly humorous detective story without the slightest indication of just how much he fuels nerdish excitement (mine definitely included) all around. Coming from someone who foolishly followed Jhonen Vasquez’s pretentious and irksome tweets back in the day, I am overwhelmingly thrilled to see artists like Guillory and Fabio Moon tweeting.

Now, onto the Chew #4 cover…

Sugarland Gives Twist to ‘Sex on Fire’

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Performances, Videos, Country,

Since I’m admittedly not a huge country music fan, I really didn’t know that much about Sugarland other than the song they did for Good Morning America. Then I heard Jennifer Nettles’ performance of “Stay” at this year’s Grammys and was absolutely wowed. Her voice and delivery gave me chills.

So when I heard the duo recently covered ‘s “Sex on Fire,” I just had to watch. It was not a disappointment.

Jennifer Aniston to Return to TV…As a Regular?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, NBC, Rumors,

Jennifer Aniston bares more than her bod in the new issue of GQ. The actress talks about her relationship with John Mayer, her current friendship with ex-hubby Brad Pitt and even her future career plans.

With her cover shot, Aniston easily puts to rest any lingering rumors that she might be carrying Mayer’s child - smooth abs are testament enough to her state. Aniston also denies the rumors in her interview, where she jokes about going to the Hamptons with Brad and Angie. Yes, it’s just a joke - her and the ex exchange polite phone calls and congratulations; they don’t share vacations.

But she did offer up a tantalizing hint that she may soon be back on the small screen - as a regular. Jennifer spoke highly of Tina Fey’s , saying “that to me, is an ideal job: great cast, New York City.” When asked directly about her future involvement with the show, Aniston played her cards close to vest. “We’ll see what I say if they come back and ask me - I wouldn’t say yes, I wouldn’t say no.”

So, it’s a definite maybe.

Silicon Touch iPhone Case For The Visually Impaired

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Smartphones, Design, Misc. Tech,

Silicon Touch Case

The Silicon Touch iPhone case was designed by Bruno Fosi for the visually impaired. The cover has modified bas-relief buttons that goes in tandem with a home screen without hampering the touch and scrolling functions. He also incorporated accessibility functions like moon type tactile feedback and text to speech. With a little practice, the prototype might even be a viable cover for those who like to use their iPhones under the covers when their partner thinks they are snoozing.
