Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lamber Lead CMT Awards Nominations

Carrie Underwood leads nominations for the Country Music Television (CMT) Music Awards 2012. The former American Idol winner has five nods at the 2012 CMT Awards, including Female Artist of the Year and Video of The Year for "Good Girl."

Miranda Lambert follows with four nods, two in the Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year categories for her single "Over You" and two with her band, Pistol Annies who are up for Group Video and "USA Weekend" Breakthrough Video.

Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars and Lady Antebellum all received three nominations.

Ten artists are currently nominated in the night's biggest category, "Video of the Year," but the number will be narrowed down to five during the awards show, which will be broadcast live from Nashville on June 6. The 11th annual ceremony will also stream live on the channel's website, CMT.com, where fans can also vote up until June 4.

Amazon signs Viacom for Prime instant streaming

Good news for everyone owning a Kindle Fire and subscribed to Amazon Prime (as well as owners of any other media streaming device with Prime compatibility,) as Amazon has announced that it will now offer its subscribers increased instant streaming of videos to supported devices. The press release states that users will be able to stream TV shows from MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, TV Land, Spike, VH1, BET, CMT and Logo.

All of this is made possible due to Amazon recently making a deal with Viacom, bringing the total number of available streaming offerings to over 15,000, all of which are supported on over 300 devices. Between Netflix, the Redbox-Verizon deal, and Amazon Prime, the streaming video subscription space is heating up!

Chuck (NBC, 8 P.M.): "Sarah sets out on a perilous undercover mission by assisting Mary Bartowski (Linda Hamilton) in a bid to finally crush criminal mastermind Volkoff (Timothy Dalton)." They vow to beat the living daylights out of him.
90210 (CW, 8 P.M.): "Ivy doubts her ability to compete in a surf competition after a wicked wipeout." She completely overestimated her ability to get past the Big Balls.
19 Kids and Counting (TLC, 10:30 P.M.): Season premiere. "Michelle takes a pregnancy test." Fortunately, it didn't require her to study very hard.

MONDAY (12/13)

Two and Half Men (CBS, 9 P.M.): "Charlie and Courtney split up, and a depressed Charlie seeks solace from his psychiatrist, Dr. Freeman." Attend therapy while on the show? Could life be any easier for Charlie Sheen?
Hawaii Five-0 (CBS, 10 P.M.): "Chin Ho is abducted and an explosive device is strapped to his chest." If there's anything we've learned from Daniel Dae Kim, it's that he can survive explosions.
Hoarders (A&E, 10 P.M.): "A home in an upscale area is filled with items inside and out, and the owner has a homeless person living in the front yard." The owner's certain he could make use of that homeless guy some day.

Taylor Swift Video to Get Multiple Channel Debut

Taylor Swift‘s latest music video, “Mine,” will get the royal treatment when it officially premieres next week.

The first clip from her upcoming CD will debut on CMT during a live half-hour live special on Friday, August 27 at 8:00-8:30 p.m. ET/PT. The video will then be available online at 8:30 p.m. via CMT.com, MTV.com and VH1.com before airing during MTV’s 9 p.m. block. VH1 will then showcase the video the following morning during the Top 20 Video Countdown.

Those unable to catch CMT’s special on Friday night can watch the same program on MTV Saturday morning or on VH1 Saturday afternoon.

Speak Now, Swift’s third CD, will hit stores on October 25.

The Bachelorette (ABC, 8pm): “Ali questions some of the bachelors’ sincerity. Indeed, two of them seem to be as focused on each other as they are on her.” Well, they did they say they came there looking for love.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family, 8pm): “Amy runs into Bristol Palin in her dorm, and soon she realizes the music program is for teen moms.” Palin clearly wasn’t accepted into the program for her actual talent.
Incredible to Edible (TLC, 10pm): “A couple think they can cook, but their inedible boiled fish and microwaved eggs prove otherwise.” Oh, hold up - you can microwave eggs?

VIDEO: Reba McEntire Shares the Stage with…Reba McEntire

The “Is Reba McEntire Really a Black Man with a Red Wig?” mystery has finally been solved.

During Wednesday’s CMT Music Awards, the real country artist finally shared the stage with the comedian (Kenan Thompson) who simply likes to sing and dress like her.

Based on the reactions of some of the audience members, they either didn’t see the original Saturday Night Live skit or they didn’t find it amusing at all.
