At Gnomedex 7.0, we caught up with Stacy Wolff of HP. This is the man in charge of designing all those shiny (literally) new laptops we have been seeing come out of Hewlett-Packard. We talk to Stacy about product design in a day and age where fashion can be just as important as function - after all, Apple has turned computers into accessories. We take a break from gadgets in this episode, as we present an impromptu roundtable discussion between some of the major players in the blogging space, focusing on marketing and what major companies need to do to start engaging today’s consumer. With the way information is consumed these days, along with the way our generation consumes media, companies need to approach marketing a bit differently. This video features Andru Edwards, Robert Scoble, Chris Pirillo, and Steve Broback discussing these topics in two parts - first, I talk with Scoble, Pirillo, and Broback one-on-one, and then we bring you the full roundtable.

It was the biggest wedding in the history of the blogosphere, as Chris Pirillo and Ponzi tied the knot just a few weeks ago. Of course, we wouldn’t be The Bleeding Edge if we didn’t have our camera crew in tow to capture some of the many highlights of the evening, which included wedding vows that were read off of UMPC devices - and one of them went into sleep mode during the exchange.
