AQUOS Photo Player

Sharp has two new AQUOS devices, the HN-PP100 and HN-PP150. Each is a cross between a 300 x 300 dpi photo printer and memory card reader. Display your images on your TV in one of their slideshow options or print them. The Photo Player also has an IR receiver for sending those photos to the player as well as an HDMI output. Unfortunately, the player does not have HD capability and can only store the photos if you have a NAS and the HN-PP150 model.

Sharp Aquos Fulltough 931SH high-resolution mobile phone

Sharp Aquos Fulltouch 931SHThe Japanese always manage to get the best cell phones first and we always hope they trickle over to the U.S. and the new Sharp Aquos Fulltouch 931SH is no exception to the rule.  This new cell phone is an obvious response to the and its touch technology.  The one thing that sets this cell phone apart is the incredible screen resolution of 1024 x 480, bringing it close to that of a netbook.  The 931SH also incorporates a 5.2 megapixel camera with stabilizer technology, a 1seg TV tuner, Bluetooth with A2DP, an accelerometer, web browser, media player, a microSD slot and of course, a touch screen as the name implies.  The phone also works on all 3G networks, making it viable for U.S. as well as world-wide consumption, although no time-frame has been mentioned.

MINOX Agent M Belt Camera

Belt CameraWe figure that since most people don’t really peek at others’ belt buckles, the MINOX Agent M Belt Camera would be a fun accessory for any wannabe spy. At a length of 110 cm, it features r/t recording in 3GP video with a QCIF resolution of 176 x 144 pixels at 15fps. The cam supports digital voice recording, runs on a Li-ion battery and allows for storage up to 2 GB on Micro SD/T flash cards. At a price of €229.00 (~$299.00,) the belt comes with a USB cord and probably isn’t recommended for really short 007 types.

Novo Minoru 3D Webcam

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Cameras, Misc. Tech, PC / Laptop,

Minoru 3D WebcamWith the Minoru (which means “reality”) Webcam from Novo and a pair of glasses, you can see in 3D via Skype, Microsoft Live Messenger and other IMs. It apparently also makes 3D images and videos that can then be uploaded to social sites such as YouTube, although those wanting to see it will need glasses, too. Arriving in December at a price of $100.00, we figure that this is a bit overpriced and overcomplicated.
