Panasonic has come up with 3 DIGA Series Blu-ray disc players/burners. With built-in HDD, each has a dual digital TV tuner, a USB port, an HDMI output, a SD/SDHC card slot, and supports DTS-HD Master/ Dolby NR TrueHD/Dolby Digital plus codecs. Available September 1, the DIGAS have a writing speed of 6X in AVCHD (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264) format. Select between the DMR-BW930 model with 1TB, the BW830 with 500 GB, or the BW730 that holds 320GB. Prices start at € 900 (~$1,328.00.)

Averatec’s All-In-One single body PC has lots of up to date features. It has an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, a 22-inch WSXGA+ HD display supporting up to 1680x1050p, a 320GB hard disk drive, and a 2GB DDR2 SDRAM expandable to 4GB. The Korean made computer also has a 4-in-1 media card reader, a dual layer DVD/CD burner, a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, and nVidia GeForce graphics. For those who see it as an iMac clone will note its innards are all Windows with Vista Home Premium.
