Archos 9 Tablet

The Archos 9 PC Tablet has lots of usability as well as a sleek style. It comes packed with an Intel ATOM Z515 processor, an 80 GB hard disk, 1GB of RAM upgradable to 2GB, WiFi and Bluetooth compatibility and runs Windows 7. Users can input via touchscreen, Windows keyboard or tracking mouse. When released in Europe, the miniPC will include an antenna and can receive DVBT TV signals. No pricing has yet to be announced.

X910BT GPSPioneer has 3 new in-dash GPS systems. At the low end is the 4.3-inch AVIC-U310BT, a voice controlled 2-DIN model with wireless capability and iPod/iPhone control at a price of $700.00. The mid-priced 5.8-inch AVIC-X710BT goes for $1,000.00 while the AVIC-X910BT comes at a cost of $1,200.00. Both have RCA outputs and built-in Bluetooth. The top of the line AVIC-Z110BT $1,800.00 unit has all the features that the other three have, gives map and route info simultaneously with voice control, plus HD and satellite radio capability, and a 7-inch motorized LCD screen.

Philips has announced their GoGear line of products. Included is the Luxe MP3 player with a Bluetooth headset that allows a switch from music to call with one click. With 100 hours of battery life, FM tuner with 20 presets and caller ID, it has a price of $79.99. The Mix has a 4GB capacity, FM tuner with presets, a 25 hour battery life, USB connection and a price of $44.99.

ASUS 1101HAASUS has outed their 1101HA as part of their Seashell line. It has a 11.6-inch display with 1366x768 resolution, a 160GB hard drive and 10GB Eee storage. The PC has an Intel Atom Z-series processor and a battery life up to 11 hours with its 6-cell battery. It comes comes standard with 802.11n draft and Bluetooth connectivity. Available in several colors, we guess the Seashell comparison is the “tiny reflective specks which glisten in the light” on the cover.

Sony Ericsson has a nifty new prototype named the Aino, named after a Finnish mythology creature. The smartphone features an 8 megapixel camera, syncs to your PC via 3G or WiFi and (here’s where the nifty part comes in) connects to your PS3, no matter where you are. This version will only show you what content is on it but hey, it’s a start. The Aino comes with a Bluetooth headset, headphones that light up and a wireless dock.

eSoles Transmit Workout Data Via Phone

eSoles logoIf you really want to know what’s going on with your body during that jog or other rigorous activity, eSoles will let your phone know cadence, power output, balance, speed and distance. The custom foot beds transmit the data from 11 pressure sensors via Bluetooth and are based on the company’s Imaging Kiosk System. A prototype has already been tested and Windows Mobile phones will be the first to try it out. Apps for iPhone and BlackBerry will be available later. Prices run from $49.00 for a basic version up to a deluxe model for $499.00.
