We all know that two of the new features being introduced in iPhone 3.0 are MMS and Internet tethering. Well, it looks like someone was able to get those hidden features up and running in the latest iPhone 3.0 beta 4 software, as evidenced by the video above. Of course the Microsoft Surface is a gimme, but the X-Desk may be some competition. It is 52-inches, as opposed to MS’s 30-inch surface, and also reacts to multi-touch input and zoom. Interact with maps and images and play media files. It can also be used with PMPs and cell phones via Bluetooth. The X-Desk, which was developed by Impressx and Engage and runs with Epson 3 LCD projectors, will cost you $20,000, about the same as the Surface.

Fujitsu FLEPia Color e-Book

Fujitsu has the honor of developing the first color e-paper mobile terminal. FLEPia is thin and lightweight and has a simple to view 8-inch display with up to 260,000 colors in HD. It also has Bluetooth and high-speed wireless LAN capability. When completely charged, it provides up to 40 hrs. of usage only for re-draw. When used with a 4GB SD card, the e-book can store up to 5,000 conventional sized paperbacks which equals out to 300 pages long at 600KB per book.

Samsung Giant Messager Phone Hits Chicago

Look out, Guinness. Samsung and wireless carrier Cricket have teamed to make the largest working cell phone, including a full QWERTY keyboard. The 15 x 13 ft. Messager phone, located at Fidelity Plaza in Chicago, really makes free phone calls and sends text messages. No doubt the publicity will sell plenty of the 4.4 x 2.0 x 0.7-inch normal-sized phones, which feature Bluetooth technology, an MP3 player and a 1.3 megapixel cam at a price of around $200.00.
