Hooray for Free Voice Line.com. If you live in the U.S. or Canada, want to reduce your landline charges and have used up all your free minutes on your cell phone, head to the beta site that will give you free local and long distance calls within reason. You enter your number and the one you want to contact. They call and connect you after an obligatory commercial. That is a small price to pay for the service, we think.

Dearinter Answers All Questions

Have a question about your career, girl/boyfriend, money matters, or perhaps something trivial? Dearinter.net claims to have the answer. The beta site calls itself “the ultimate tool for rapidly expressing opinions.” There is no charge for participating but you need to register if you want to ask a specific question. Dearinter has answer-o-matic voting with sections such as “what’s hot,” “most answered’ and “best of.” Before they finalize the site, we hope they go a little heavier on the ink.

Animasher Makes Simplified Animation

We would love to do more animation if we could get the hang of Adobe or afford the software. We found a beta site recently, Animasher, that can make even the most incompetent into an instant cartoonist. You drag and drop objects around the frame, add background, text, music, special effects, and/or speech. Adjust them individually for time and placement, save, and voila! You got

animation. We wonder if ATHF started this way.
