BeoSound 3 is the latest portable audio system from Bang & Olufsen. It combines both digital music and FM radio tunes with its full-range mono speaker. It features a SD card reader that will support up to 2GB, a clock/timer, and runs on a rechargeable battery for up to 10 hours of playback. At a size of 5.3 x 3.5 x 16.5-inches, it comes in an anodized aluminum cabinet with soft-touch operation a handle that can be wall-mounted. B&O is kindly offering their music maker at a $795.00 holiday price, down from its $875.00 previous cost.

BeoSound 6, a Higher Class MP3 Player

We figured it was about time that the elite Bang & Olufsen would enter the MP3 player market. Their 4GB BeoSound 6 is covered with black polished stainless steel with a soft lacquered surface and scratch resistant glass. Its 1.8-inch TFT LCD is 128 x 160 pixels, and the company claims it will store up to 100 MP3, WMA and OGG tunes. The battery should last about 40 hours. The BS6 comes with ultra-light headphones and a premium leather case, of course. The elite PMP is available for the extravagant price of $600.00.
