Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: PC, PlayStation 3, Sports, Trailers, Xbox 360,
Earlier today 2K Sports released the new trailer for NBA 2K14, giving a look at a few of the 3,000 new animations, moves, and dribbling techniques you can expect from the game. LeBron James is the cover athlete for this year, and he also happens to be the soundtrack curator for the game as well. The trailer consists of Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC game footage (all of which will be released on October 1,) a disappointment to those who were hoping for a glimpse of Xbox One and Playstation 4 gameplay footage, but 2K Games says that's coming soon in a separate trailer. You can pre-order NBA 2K14 now, and be sure to check out the trailer after the jump.

Kris Humphries Booed at Basketball Game
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Sports, Television, Break-ups, Divorce,
Kris Humphries was booed as he returned to the basketball court last night.
The 26-year-old sportsman received a harsh reception from the 20,000-strong crowd at New York's Madison Square Garden as he played his first pre-season game since splitting from Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce in October after just 72 days of marriage.
Kris was a free agent during the summer before signing an $8 million deal this week to return to NBA side the New Jersey Nets - and he admitted his time with the 31-year-old socialite had been a "learning experience." When asked what was different when he was last with the team in April, he said, "Well, there is a lot less paparazzi here. I definitely had a lot going on. It was a learning experience. I hadn't been through anything like that before. Life just happens. As long as you're focused and pay attention to life, everything is easier. I learned that I put my faith in God, my family and basketball. I feel now like I'm home again."

Jay-Z brought lots of excitement to the University of Kentucky’s men’s basketball team last week when he treated them to a post-game locker room visit. The Wildcats were already riding high following the NCAA tournament game which landed them in the Final Four of the Division I tournament. But, Jay-Z crossed the line with the visit for one important reason: he’s a mogul, not an ordinary fan.

EndScore Report: In Your Face Duke and Knicks!
Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Editorial, NBA, NCAA, College Basketball, Playoffs, Trades,
DV and Chris get down with the inaugural edition of In Your Face, a weekly feature (most likely on Fridays) where they call out a player, coach, and/or team. This week, the Duke University Blue Devils and New York Knicks get the In Your Face treatment. Duke is no longer in the NCAA Tournament after losing to the Arizona Wildcats and it's sweetness for about 99% of the population. The New York Knicks traded for Carmelo Anthony and it's not looking so good. The EndScore Report recently reviewed the trade, but the team's losing streak and the Denver Nuggets' winning ways was just too noteworthy not to give the Knicks an In Your Face. Listen to the gloating and sadness.

SNL opened with one of their funniest sketches of the year on Saturday. In a single skit, the show managed to pay homage to March Madness, Charlie Sheen and world current events. Our favorite part is Bill Hader -- watch the video above to see what we mean.
In related news, fans will have the opportunity to watch the real March Madness in a whole new way for this years NCAA men’s basketball tournament, which begins on Tuesday. CBS has purchased the broadcasting rights once again, but this year the network will actually show every single game. This year, games will be presented on CBS, TNT, TBS and truTV.

Apple TV adds live MLB and NBA streaming
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Apple, HDTV, Home Entertainment,
Thanks to a software update for Apple TV announced Wednesday, owners can now stream live and archived U.S. NBA and MLB games. The Apple TV update version 4.2 also adds 5.1 Dolby audio to Netflix streaming.
Starting at $64.95 a year, the National Basketball Association's (NBA) "League Pass Broadband" lets you follow seven teams, while a $99.95 option lets you watch games from all 30 teams, amounting to more than 40 games a week during the season. However there is a location-based blackout period, meaning that you'll only be able to access your subscription in the state or zip code in which you purchased it.
Meanwhile Major League Baseball's "MLB.TV" streaming package, also available on Roku and PlayStation 3, starts at $19.99/month or $99.99/year for the Standard package; $24.99/month or $119.99 a year for the Premium package.
