To kick off the official debut of her new album, Animal, singer Ke$ha performed her hit song “TiK ToK” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.
Never heard of Ke$ha? Well, the 22-year-old is now linked to two of the hottest tracks…ever. Just last week, the singer sold 610,000 downloads of her current single—that’s the best number for any female artist in recorded history. The overall title still belongs to Flo Rida’s “Right Round” (636,000)—another song Ke$ha can be heard on.

Hal the Hamster Sings

We love robotic animal toys almost as much as the genuine article, with the exception being the annoying Furby, even though that probably doesn’t qualify as an animal. Hal the Hamster sings and dances to Styx’s “Mr. Roboto.” Standing 6-inches, he needs 3 AAA batteries to do his thing and has a price of only $9.99. We think we might have programmed him with something more appropriate, such as “Chewy, Chewy” or “Spinning Wheel.” Then again, he is wearing a spacesuit.
